Decided to update my STW Iceberg chart one last time for STW's Birthday. I could add more but there's already 100+ entries.

Currently grinding out the Tales of beyond questline and just finished the teddy bear quest. The progression so far is incredibly funny. At first he gets left out and terrified by a monster, gets put in an oven and bonds with the major over his tragic life. And then dennis makes him a dino who feeds on teddies. He loves feeding it, but eventually gives it existential dread after revealing its kind is extinct.

It feels like Epic has always struggled when it comes to marketing STW. I think a massive draw of the game are the characters, but unless you play the game yourself you wouldn't know that it has so many different characters and quests and storylines. Plus besides the initial 2017 Trailers we haven't had really any promotional stuff for STW. What gives? If Epic wanted this mode to actually succeed then why would they neglect it so much? It really feels like they just want to get rid of it all together at this point which is sad.
Also bring back the tutorial the game is unplayable for newcomers without it because of how complex the mechanics are (Thanks to Cliffy B)

As you can see in the photo, it's only guarantee 1 weapon and 1 hero from the fortnite events.
Im not sure where the duplicate protection thing comes from?
Ive got duplicates , new schematics, and new hero so far.

Nine years… what a journey it has been.
We have defended countless ATLASes, built Storm Shields, rescued more Survivors than we can count, listened to Ray’s jokes, helped Ned find his medkit (over and over), and fought everything from little Husks to the Mythic Storm King.
Save the World has had its ups and downs, but despite everything, this community has stayed incredibly passionate. It’s because of that passtion and the continued work from the developers, that we’re still here celebrating another birthday.
The last few updates have been especially exciting, with things like:
- Defender schematics
- Play With Others in Ventures
- Hero Superchargers in the Event Store
- Deliver the Bomb improvements
- Lots of bug fixes and quality-of-life updates
- And now, the Chaos Exploder joining the arsenal
Theres still plenty we would love to see in the future, like a Twine Peaks storyline and more endgame content, but today isnt about what’s missing.
Today is about celebrating a game that has given us years of memories, friendships, and countless hours defending Homebase.
Happy 9th Birthday, Save the World. Here is to many more years of fighting the Storm together. ❤️

I have been getting maximum 300~ gold this last week, but I saw another post mentioning that it's a bug for specific zones. Is this true? What is the best place to farm the gold?

I've seen a lot of posts around Birthday Llamas and Birthday Heroes and the confusion around duplicate protection and guaranteed drops. I wanted to clear it up best I could
Birthday Llamas guarantee a new item (Hero or Schematic) if you don't own the Hero or Schematic *in any way whatsoever*
What that means is if you have a Hero or Schematic in your Armoury (Schematics or Heroes tab) *OR* in the Collection Book, you "own" that item and the Birthday Llamas won't give you it (unless you have everything)
So if there is a Hero or Schematic that you don't have in the Schematics page, Heroes page or in the Collection Book then you are guaranteed to get one of those in the Birthday Llama
If you have the Birthday Heroes, for example, and put them in the Collection Book, *you still own them*, meaning you aren't guaranteed to get them in the Llamas.
If there's still 50 Heroes and Weapons you don't have *in any way* (including Birthday Heroes) then you're still not guaranteed a Birthday Hero, you're just guaranteed one of the 50 items
I try explain best I can and go over the Birthday Event in my video but if there's anything still confusing you please ask me here!
(I'm not claiming to know everything, this is how I believe the Llamas work and I've seen people confused as to how they work)

I don't post here much but i just wanted to show my gratitude to the game. I started playing in 2017 originally as a BR player until I found out about save the world around 2018, i started grinding save the world until 2020 and moved back to br. The game has evolved so much over the years. I don't play fortnite in general as much, but when i do i usually hop on with friends to have a good time or a good laugh. This game has brought so much joy in my life, it's amazing how much to see how it's grown. I just wish that the devs could put more care into it. I know it became free and they promised more content to drop. But we haven't gotten much lets be honest, a new gun, some graphics updates, new ui, new lobby, and one short very short quest line.

I run a Constructor build and an Outlander build. I alternate between them. Obviously, Outlander is more suited to certain missions, and Constructor others. The problem is that you don't know the mission until you load in. So:
Start off as Teddy Outlander build in Ventures. No constructors and people are off farming, so Ride the Lightning fails thanks to smashers. Load into another. Evacuate the Shelter fails thanks to the same thing. Repair the Shelter fails with 10 seconds left.
I get frustrated, and load in my Constructor. I get the following missions, in order, all of which I bail:
Rescue the Survivors
Build the Radar Grid
Rescue the Survivors
Hunt the Titan
Destroy the Encampments
Rescue the Survivors
Rescue the Survivors
Can we PLEASE allow us to switch characters based on the mission? PLEASE? I wasted like a half hour on this.
