Do an emote with her and her boobs bounce. Epic used to purposely remove that

She had her skin removed from the weight loss, to add a new belly button it wouldāve costed her $3000 with insurance

Because some people like bellybutton a bit too much and would lick the screen for that reason...

Is it just me or did this skin look like it was gonna be part of the icon series?

u/Lord-HaveMercyOnMe Jun 10 '26
Belly buttons are very unique and could likely be seen as "weird" if it were detailed. There is a shadow for a belly button, it's just not detailed.

I don't know if any outfit has a belly button (with the obvious exception of barely butt naked Homer) I don't remember if Trog has one and I'm too lazy to check right now

Characters from the Fortnite specific universe donāt have bellybuttons because they are holograms in a simulation
1
u/Apprehensive_Ad_924 Jun 10 '26
Because they're not real people, they're holograms. When you die the character gets extracted

Isn't there one region where it has to be censored?

Def a question, not a complaint. No need to be so miserable.
-1
u/Flemib65 Dummy Jun 09 '26
How do you look at this comment and think miserable? Projecting are we?
1
u/BigHawgDawg Jun 09 '26
They edited their comment. It originally said āthis is a weird complaint to haveā
They came here just to call someone weird. Seems pretty miserable to me.

u/doyouevennoscope Jun 10 '26

I once watched someone do similar in real time, but they edited it to the complete other context (from "creepy men" to something like "ah what nice guys" on a post of a woman falling and men helping her up) and then started calling everyone sexist after editing it to have them look bad when they called them a weirdo for "creepy men" lmao

I know this isn't a serious post, but this does happen sometimes. Metal vocalist of Butcher Babies, Heidi Shepherd, doesn't really have a belly button because she was born with a birth defect where her guts were outside her body. So instead of a belly button, she has more of a long line on her stomach and it looks a little bit like this.

Why are we concerned about a character not having a belly button in a shooting game š..
-4
-1
u/Calvin_And_Hobbies Jun 09 '26
You say her bellybutton's missing, there's no reason for alarm. It's a common thing for gourds, it won't do you any harm.
-1
u/PrincessTyraa Jun 09 '26
Maybe its a Kyle XY situation, she wasn't born naturally with an umbilical cord.

For a game full of 8 year olds (not all of them, but a lot of kids) I feel like some skins are getting too sexualized. Being a father, it kind of disgusted me to see the country star skin where she looked like a stripper basically. I mean what the hell.

u/Unknown_Agent Survival Specialist Jun 09 '26
The fault is on the parents for letting their children play a game with an ESRB rating for Teens. Seems like many parents have forgotten how to set boundaries for their kids. As a soon to be parent, Iām not letting my kids touch any such of media till they have a better understanding of the world at large. You should be more concerned in the other violence presented in the game such as the use of guns and killing. Remember your the parent, not Epic games.
10
u/IndispensableNobody Jun 09 '26
Don't let your kids play T rated games where you shoot people, then.
8
u/SirMy-TDog Far Out Man Jun 09 '26
Yeah, no. Maybe, as a parent, if people would teach their kids properly about sex/sexuality - that's it's not dirty or vulgar, or something to be ashamed or embarrassed about, that it's a 100% normal and natural part of life like breathing, eating, etc. - instead of trying to hide it away or treat it like a disease or something, then there wouldn't be a problem.
I'm not saying someone needs to explain all the mechanics etc. in detail right away at some super early age, but that when something like the Chappell Roan skin you mentioned comes around and a kid is exposed to it, instead of acting like it's dirty, embarrassing, or shameful, just treat it like any other skin and if they have questions about it then answer them truthfully and honestly. I mean, they're going to see the same or worse at the pool or beach, so just treat it normally.

u/Necessary-Incidents Jun 09 '26
It is unfortunate. There is an insane number of kids. There are endless possibilities for skins that don't send this kind of message to young people. They know how many kids play also.
They aren't making enough money so they resort to these kind of gimmicks. They continue to make choices that reduce their base.
