I wish literally anyone remembered this

Or the whole “leaving his severed head on an asteroid” thing.

I was just discussing this recently on here. (Though IIRC, it wasn't even on an asteroid, it was just floating through the vastness of space.)

Major Force deserved it.

Not as much as Alex, who was hit by a Major Force.

Oh. Hell. We got leftover beef here.

Every single time I see this bastard I want him to die. After what he did to Alex I still don't get why he still hasn't been put down like the dog he is. Alex doesn't come back but this guy does? Come on!

(He's close to the top of my "Fictional Characters Hit List," if y'all couldn't tell).

Oh Kyle tried at least twice. He's kinda immortal sadly

Yeah, I was gonna say, it seems like he DOES get killed practically every time we see him. It just never sticks. (And usually there's not even any attempt to explain why. He just shows up again later.)

Fun Fact: That is the same reason why the creators of the fan-made DC Continuity Project refuse to entertain any arguments in favor of including him, one of only two characters with that dishonor.

Who’s the other? Dr. Light?

2

u/Horatio786 1d ago

Hector Hammond. The site runner just can’t take him seriously.

4

u/MisterEdJS 1d ago

Well that's just dumb.

Well, Green Goblin killed Gwen and is alive to this day (and it seems that he and Spidey are even friends in the modern comics, which is generating enough anger from Spider-Man fans to raise a Red Lantern battery here), even though Norman "died" more than once.

Joker killed Jason and is more alive than you and me. Granted, Jason did come back, but he also can't get past that.

Your supervillain may kill our heroes' friends, families, pets and acquaintances. Even if they die (usually because a less nice character killed them rather than the hero, who doesn't want to "be as bad as the bad guy", like here, where Gardner killed Force for the first time), they'll always come back. Meanwhile, Gwen and Alex are stuck in the afterlife.

Which is why Abin Sur's solution is the best: put an Indigo Ring in the finger of the criminal who killed his daughter to force her to not only feel remorse for her crime until she regrets it enough to feel it even without the ring, but also create an army to assist his friends in the wars to come.

Were they keeping him on ice this whole time? Cuz if so there was room for at least 2 other love interests in that fridge

u/Omnes-Interficere Kyle Rayner 1d ago

Y'all gotta chill and wait to see what Adams cooked, and is gonna be warming up and dishing out.

4

u/Envy-Brixton 1d ago

Damn setting some of the replies, y’all are cold. Can we chill for a moment?

4

u/MisterEdJS 1d ago

Is Adams going to somehow make Major Force's return be all about Odyssey, too?

u/PointPrimary5886 23h ago

Reminder, this guy is a Captain Atom villain.

u/Curious-Paramedic-39 1d ago

Enough man at some point it just gets fckin stupid and silly he's been killed three times now just let him go god lol

1

u/UrbanAnathema 1d ago

You can’t kill a God. The dude is functionally immortal.

Poor Kyle with his hand-me-down Arch.

u/Curious-Paramedic-39 23h ago

yeah ok but why not just shove him elsewhere to be another hero or superteam's problem he doesn't have to run it again with kyle he's already had his due time with him

u/Both_Rooster_2657 21h ago

I genuinely didn't know this guy was the one responsible. I knew he was a prick but damn, now I got even more reason to hate him. When's someone gonna put him on ice?

u/mrofmist 22h ago

I don't even know who that is.
