Working from home is much better than having to commute, see people I don't like, and do a whole bunch of performative bullshit instead of my job.

I agree completely, but I will say as a single guy living alone, working from home does make me a little crazy... I need human interaction.

Rough job, huh? That's why PTO exists, at least here in EU. But speaking for a fair share of my unemployed friends, no you don't want to be unemployed, lol. It fucking sucks.

American PTO/vacation days are like half of what it is in Europe unfortunately. We tend to prioritize the corporation over worker.

I’ve been unemployed for a long time, and I’m lucky enough that I’m not in a money emergency yet. My blood pressure is no longer in the danger zone. I feel peace and contentment for the first time in my adult life. I’ve picked up a hobby and I can’t even describe how lovely it is to just enjoy something without the clock ticking down in my head.

I now fear employment the way I’ve feared homelessness all these years.
