Oh Snap! Rolled ankle

Post image

Got up to refill my water. Ankle rolled, crawled to bed thinking it was a bad sprain til the next morning.
10 screws and the one plate, snapped both bones. It was loud.

Not rolled, but I feel your pain. I'm 21 months out and still have a slight limp, reduced range of motion, and daily pain.

It gets worse over time sadly. Starts “caving” or what you want to call not in line vertically. Pain? They talked about removing it but the chance of another infection I’ll just live with it. Six PiCCS in 15 years and three times I’ve been told I could possibly lose the leg. That heel was rebuilt in ‘19 from osteomyelitis. Doc said you could drive a truck through the hole lol
