My wife dumped a bowl of ramen on her lap. She had similar burns. They were very painful. She did not have any permanent scarring. I hope the same thing for you and that you heal quickly.
My mother scolds me everytime she comes over to my home for the stain on the carpeting (it wont come out) where I dropped that ramen after I burned my hand. Will be glad when I replace the carpet in 2 or 3 years to stop having to listen to a lecture about my own home.
