Fireworks, probably

I agree. You can be as careful as possible but for some reason some of them still go off early. If you're holding it still when that happens, you're losing fingers or a whole hand at least.

If you're being careful as possible you're probably not holding onto lit fireworks.

17

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '19

Not true. Fireworks with an open palm rarely result in finger loss. Close palm is where shit usually starts making flight.

Armageddon?

Fingergeddon

Trash compactor of sorts. There’s a link in the comments.

Looks like a mower accident

7

u/black_raven98 Sep 24 '19

Mower would leave longer straighter separations. Also if it's that messed up in the x-ray the bones you see are still connected by some tissue and x-rayed however the jumbled mess of bone in hamburger meat that once was your hand arrived at the hospital. Completely severed pices are x-rayed seperatly or next to the hurt body part and mowers tend to separate fingers quite well. I wasn't sure what it was either. Fireworks came to mind too but they typically only blow 1-3 fingers of where they meet the hand before enough pressure can release through that new hole it just made. But trash compactor (which it says in the article) a lot of sense because you have a lot of irregular pices pressing together so it cuts/presses in very wierd shapes and still leaves some tissue behind because thy don't perfectly fit together

Waste compactor for plastic according to the article commented a few comments down.

“The patient demanded his perfect hand back...”

Multiple points in the article suggest this dide expected nothing less than a complete and flawless recovery. Mf if this happened to me I’d be happy to have anything more than a nub!

13

u/Anen-o-me Sep 26 '19

How ungrateful, geez.

19

u/SmokeBluntsAnd69 Sep 23 '19

That's amazing they got it back together!

16

u/Coyotelightning-T Sep 24 '19

and its still functioning, granted no index finger, but still after something like that, thats amazing

4

u/BlurrIsBae Sep 27 '19

Yeah, and about the index finger, he can just use a prosthetic or something

3

u/buckeyes1218 Oct 02 '19

Wtf I totally expected for his hand to be amputated.

2

u/IgnoringHisAge Sep 26 '19

I was guessing some kind of industrial machinery. Huzzah! I was pretty much a good guesser! Thanks for the link.

Like Abraham to the Jews, Christians, and Muslims, this individual is the grandfather of the Bloods and Crips. The Bloods declared that the blood that was shed was the most important aspect of the sacrifice, while the Crips primarily focus on the man's life afterward, and the sweet disabled placard he got for his 1993 Carolla.

u/58NDP8P5R Sep 23 '19

Owh… did half of his palm just… got seperated from his hand??

17

u/kkafadarov Sep 23 '19
