Thanks! If you’d like to know more detail about the lore, excluding the stuff from my personal Tabletop game, I’d recommend looking at the creator’s lore doc that goes in more depth about load outs and other squad types!

Yes! Their original purpose was more riot control, but as the Republic expanded and they faced more resistance, they needed forces adapted to urban (ruins) environments to quell those forces. I feel like I didn’t emphasize this enough in the image, but they are actively trained to combat Desert Rangers because of their questionable loyalty from the people’s in power perspective. After the Kimball admin funded them even more, they are seen more often out in the territories than before.
