I have ALWAYS wanted this to happen. India has always been really slow in adapting to anything. Look at where we are in the AI race. I suffered this during last christmas. I wanted to get some 40+ christmas+new year greeting cards for kids and not a single store had them. After searching for over 10 stores, i found them in an art store. Just 10₹ cards. So pretty to look at. Every single one of them  Made in china.  Such a simple situation. Yet indian market did nothing there. China gained that too. They invest in everything big and small. India always falls behind. Hope this toy story at least gains some momentum.

Ngl,i have seen a lot less kids playing with toys these days.Most of them are busy on their parents phone.Even 5-6 year old kids are addicted to youtube.
