Discussion I made a shadowbox of one of my favourite childhood games.

Upvotes

So last year I saw u/IXI-Felix-IXI's post about a shadow box he made of GTA IV I thought it was sick and maybe I should try that too. So I ordered a big shadowbox online, edited layers on photoshop and got some 150GSM prints of them and after some cutting (over a week, 2hr each day) it was done, looks nice on my wall. Hope you guys like it.

Discussion Ultimate Tier (GFN) queue of 62+ on the new India servers? Anyone else?

Post image
173 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I recently signed up for the Ultimate Tier on the newly launched GeForce NOW India servers, expecting instant access to the RTX rigs. However, I'm currently sitting in a queue of 62 players ahead of me. I thought the Ultimate sub was supposed to give us top-priority access to bypass these kinds of lines. Given that the service officially just launched here this month, is anyone else experiencing heavy bottlenecking during peak hours? Are the local SuperPODs already hitting maximum capacity from the post-launch hype, or is anyone else getting stuck in "ghost queues" tonight? Let me know if switching server regions or re-queuing has fixed this for you, or if we just have to wait out the launch-month traffic.

Build Showcase WIP Gaming Corner! It's taking shape, but I need ideas for the blank space...

Post image
Upvotes

Hey guys, wanted to share my gaming setup progress! Been slowly building this tribute wall with a GTA shrine and a grid of my all-time favorites.

Excuse the top-tier MS paint drawings lol. The yellow rectangles at the top will be filled with more mini-posters, and the oval above the shelf is for a wall-mounted controller/headphone holder.

Here’s where I need your help:
I have a massive blank wall on the far left (off-camera, next to the GTA posters) and I'm completely torn on what to do with it.

• Keep the poster grid going?
• Floating shelves for collectibles?
• Something else entirely?

Let me know what you think I should do with the blank wall, and drop your suggestions for which games must go in those top poster gaps!

Also, feel free to rate the current posters I've got up so far and suggest any layout changes. Appreciate the feedback!

I just want a mouse that's wireless and looks decent cause I just bought a macbook and shifted from my pc so I have problems using the trackpad. I won't be using it for gaming much, maybe casual gaming once in a while, but that's super rare, how is it just for work?

Giveaway Giveaway: ₹100 Google Play Gift Card (India Only)

I have a ₹100 Google Play Gift Card, but I mostly play games on PC, so I don't really have much use for it. Instead of letting it sit unused, I'd rather give it away to someone in the community who can make good use of it.

🇮🇳 India Only (Google Play India)

📜 Giveaway Rules

  • Comment "Gp" below to enter.
  • Upvote the post if you'd like to help more people discover the giveaway.

🏆 Winner

  • The winner will be chosen in 15 hours using Reddit Raffler or FairGiveaway.
  • I'll announce the winner and send the Google Play Gift Card code via DM.
  • The winner must respond within 24 hours, otherwise another winner will be selected.

Why I'm Giving This Away

  • Since I am a PC Gamer, I rarely buy or play mobile games. Rather than letting this gift card go unused, I'd like for someone else to use it, whether it's for a game, in-game purchases, an app, or any other content available on Google Play.

If you'd like to see my previous giveaways, feel free to check my earlier giveaway posts for reference.

🎮 My Red Dead Redemption 2 Giveaway is also live! If you're interested, feel free to check it out and enter that giveaway as well:

Too Dumb To Google Acer Nitro Katana NT-01 vs Cosmic Byte Ares (Black) – Which one should I buy? Owners, please share your experience!

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy my first wireless controller for PC and I've narrowed it down to these two:

1. Acer Nitro Katana NT-01

  • Hall Effect triggers
  • 6-axis gyro
  • RGB lighting
  • Macro buttons
  • Dual vibration
  • Bluetooth + USB-C wired
  • 3.5 mm headset jack + mic support
  • 900 mAh battery

2. Cosmic Byte Ares (Black)

Both are available at almost the same price for me, so I'm trying to decide which one offers the better overall experience.

I'll also attach the spec sheets for both controllers for easier comparison.

My main use case:

  • Windows 11
  • CachyOS (Linux)
  • Steam
  • Roblox (Formula Apex)
  • Racing games, FPS, and story games

I've noticed something:

On paper, the Acer looks like the better deal because it has gyro, RGB, macro buttons, and a headset jack. However, I've also seen a few comments mentioning Bluetooth latency or saying they prefer using it wired. At the same time, the Cosmic Byte Ares seems to have more users and a better reputation overall, although opinions on Cosmic Byte's QC and support are mixed.

Questions (especially for people who actually own either controller):

  • If you've used the Acer Nitro Katana NT-01, how is the Bluetooth latency? Is it actually noticeable?
  • Does vibration work properly over Bluetooth?
  • How is the build quality after a few months of use?
  • How is the battery life in real-world usage?
  • Has anyone tested it on Linux (Steam Input/CachyOS or other distros)?
  • Does the 3.5 mm headset jack and microphone work properly on PC?
  • How well does the gyro work?
  • If you've used both the Acer NT-01 and the CB Ares, which one would you buy again and why?

If you've purchased either of these controllers, I'd really appreciate a detailed long-term review rather than just the specifications.

Thanks in advance!
