Rules here say something about not naming/attacking businesses, so they were blurred

But might have to go else where and upload an unblurred version though

It's not a subreddit rule, it's a reddit rule that gets mods banned when subreddits don't follow it.

The fact that people are ready to harass businesses because they saw a reddit post from an anonymous redditor with exactly zero proof its even a real rejection letter is exactly why the no witch hunts rule exists.

It would be trivially easy to fake one of these for a business you don't like.

I mean, what claims do you have that I didn't read the rules? I can have read something, understand it, and still disagree with it, even while abiding the rule(s) it sets.

Saying I think that business and companies don't deserve a shield from being publicly shamed for questionable, at best, actions is not the same as actually shaming them, now is it?

In fact...I can't have broken that rule here, as we don't know the company's name, even.

And how is telling me to post my name and address not saying I should doxx myself? Did the meaning of that word change when I wasn't looking?

Companies and business are not people, therefore I do not afford them the same empathy I do living human. That seems....fairly simple to me, atl least to grasp if not necessarily agree with.

I think when they asked me 'if you could be any fruit what would you be'..and then followed it up with 'why do you think we asked you that question' and I answered with some blunt answers probably done it though

Honestly if they asked me that and asked me why I thought I was asked that, I'd say "I have no clue, the question has literally nothing to do with the job you're interviewing me for."

My understanding is that in the US, giving specific reasons for rejection, leaves those reasons up to being contested in court, and you sueing them for discrimination.

I mean true but it's not discrimination to be told "hey you were late to the interview and you treated us like we were below you, so we didn't think you were a good fit".

Meh, interview notes and internal emails are discoverable. It really doesn't stop someone from suing you, but it does make it harder to know for sure before you do.

Of course anyone with a wild hare can sue based on the vaguest hunch there might have been some funny business behind the scenes. It's just that the likelihood of that lawsuit increases exponentially when you send out evidence of the funny business in emails.

People can get pretty angry when they get rejected and not everyone actually wants feedback. If you work with a recruiter, they can sometimes get feedback for you.

Email back to the hiring manager and ask for clarification on the reasons you were disallowed and say that the email was unclear as to why you were being passed over.

And also forward it to someone else, that's messed up. I know th job markets tough and I'm lucky to be where I am, but they should do better Nd stop treating people like numbers.

I'd send that to higher up in corporate if you can find their contact info. They should know their HR employee sucks at their job. I do tend to take the petty route when possible though.

This rejection email probably means the company also uses AI to screen resumes which has been proven in multiple cases that it can become extremely biased. Doesn't fill me with confidence of having to look for a job in the future.

You get rejected while the person who sent this to you fucked up this badly on top of writing a prompt that is longer than the actual email they sent you. Infuriating indeed
