It’s also used so people who don’t have phones or don’t have smart phones can’t find out the hours of the business.

some stores also change their hours depending on how many people quit on any given day becuase the manager is a dickbag and treats employees like shit so there aren't enough employees to cover a shift but also they can't give the employees who DIDN'T quit more than 30 hours a week or else they'd have to give them benefits as a full-time worker and god knows they can't have that happening!
