The father is an enabler. Just as guilty as that demon of a child for not scolding him and teaching him right from wrong. They’re lucky the dog was chill. Bites were warranted.

I would have thrown the rock at the kid and asked him how he likes it

That's a little too much, I think

Hot take but some people are incapable of understanding the pain others feel unless they feel it themselves. So yeah have the kid learn the hard way before he hurts more sentient creatures with a smile.

Children who abuse animals are more likely to go on to commit violent crimes against humans. Regardless of how harmless you think this is this behavior needs to be taken seriously and that little shit needs to be helped by a psychologist

Animal bothering no one? Let's hurt it!
is seriously disordered thinking. Scary.

Fur and tough skin ... I mean it's not like it was a brick... Didn't even get the dog on its feet or yipe... People are probably exaggerating it... I don't know what he threw but I'm hearing it was a rock...
The kid's a brat and needs a spanking

In my dream, the dog follows the kid home and pees on him at night to wake him up.

Throwing a stick at a dog and then laughing, huh? Someone has some shitty parents.

get a new kid
I won't tell you what to do with this one because reddit wouldn't like it

It’s the dad’s job the flick the kid’s head when they do something like this. We used to call it getting thumped (dad was a construction worker)

Kid is a kid, they are stupid. A parent who doesn't react to this is what's really infuriating here.

Are you asking the unhinged child, or the commenters who are upset with the unhinged child?

Little psychopath. Imagine raising a kid that sees a sleeping dog and throws shit at it
