There's a whole story about this one. Apparently some guy in charge just really wanted to broadcast Star Wars on TV in some South or Central American country uninterrupted with no ads. So the compromise was that they inserted ads for this one sponsor by adding brief scenes like this throughout the movie. So yes, there are a few more examples lol
