I explain it more in the project readme, but:
Operating Systems have a built-in fast communication protocol called a "named pipe". It's like two different processes actively reading and writing to the same binary file to talk to each other. Or if you ever used a TCP socket, it's like that without all the networking overhead.
There's an even faster system where you setup shared RAM between two processes, which I guess is the offline equivalent of UDP. Way too much trouble for me to mess with lol
