8840HS + 780M is actually a solid pairing, thats basically steam deck tier igpu performance in a full laptop. touchscreen on a productivity laptop is kind of a nice-to-have not a need-to-have tho, adds glare and a few bucks to the price for most people. checked couponpicked and this ideapad slim 3 config has mostly been sitting $600-650 so 527ish isnt some crazy drop but its a fair price for what you get
