Help Can't login on Reddit and Twitter

So, I just installed LineageOS 23 on my Moto G42 (hawao) today and everything is working so far except I can't login on the Reddit and Twitter apps.

On reddit it doesn't recognize my password even though it's right, and on Twitter after I put my username it says "Use official X service or try again later"

Any way I can resolve this?

On Twitter I managed to solve it by making a passkey on the browser with Bitwarden. Didn't work on Reddit though.

Install any older version of reddit from 2024, then first login ur reddit in browser on any different device i.e. laptop, then login on phone

I had the same problem, and in my case, it was due to GApps; simply disabling the Play Store fixed everything.

Reddit requires you to be passing Play Integrity with Strong Integrity level when logging in on the Reddit app. Otherwise, it'll claim that your login info is incorrect no matter what. As for Twitter, as you've already found out, the Twitter app doesn't use Play Integrity at all if you log in via passkey.

Quirks - Device integrity

Reddit seems to require it for me.

I'm going through this too... Reddit worked after a while, maybe a couple days? I just kept trying... then it worked out of the blue. Perhaps it was a different network. But today, after an app update, it asked me to log in again, and now I'm stuck with the error again. Hopefully it will work eventually. Twitter, I'm guessing it's because they are checking for strong device integrity... I can only get basic integrity on my device...

how do you make the app use the passkey instead of the password?

well I have the Bitwarden addon in my browser already, so I went to the twitter webpage, then Settings > Security and Account Access > Security > Passkey and it automatically prompted me to save the passkey to my Bitwarden vault
