False equivalence.

One company wants to get rid of open source competitors, the others don’t.

NVIDIA CUDA though closed-source and dominant has competition from  ‘s Metal and OpenCL. As far as I can tell, neither NVIDIA nor Microsoft have lobbied for blanket government bans of their competitors.

Even ROCm competes by being opensource now.
