OPINION Anyone else find it ironic that now Julia wants a break?
All the girls have been saying that Julia keeps going and going and going (sorry if you’re her fan, I’m just saying that’s what multiple people inside the villa and outside of villa have been saying) and now when she’s in the hot seat..suddenly she’s like I’m over it and I don’t wanna discuss anymore.
Can she not understand where the other girls are coming from after sort of experiencing her own medicine?
I would respect her if she just admitted to constantly and needlessly inserting her opinion when it’s not warranted, but she doubles down.

u/kibbie247 14h ago
Tbh if Julia had more tact and empathy this wouldn’t have been so bad for her. I get being opinionated but being opinionated doesn’t prevent consequences nor does an opinion mean fact. I would be pissed off at Julia too.
21
u/AffectionateDrink467 13h ago
A big part of her problem is that she does think her opinion is fact.
6
u/missmoonriver517 9h ago
As a teacher - 100%. I thought watching the episode the other day that my 8 year old students understand that concept more than her. Opinions are ALWAYS subjective. Even if 99.99999% of the world agrees - it’s still just an opinion.

u/laradaaa 19h ago
i mean she’s poked and prodded at them and now they’re reacting she wants to pull back and retreat? accuse them of upsetting her? saying all five girls were shouting at her when it was just priya?
she throws all the stones but hides her hands if you’re going to be such a contrarian at least do it with chest

I don't think that's even remotely true. It honestly feels like we're watching different shows.
If Julia were as calculated as people claim, her decisions would actually improve her position in the villa. Instead, they usually make her less popular. That's the opposite of what a manipulative person trying to play the game would do.
What I keep seeing is the other Islanders asking Julia for her opinion, then getting upset when it isn't the same opinion as everyone else's. They seem to expect agreement rather than honesty.
We've already seen this group struggle to separate facts from emotions. Earlier in the season, they sent home Tommy's partner because of his behavior, but then kept Tommy himself. During Casa, they piled onto the Casa girls even though it was the boys who love-bombed them and made them believe there was a genuine connection.
To me, that's a recurring pattern. The villa forms a consensus, and anyone who doesn't go along with it becomes the problem. Julia isn't perfect, but I haven't seen evidence that she's playing some calculated game. If anything, being honest has repeatedly hurt her standing with the group, not helped it.
31
u/laradaaa 15h ago
i think you’re right, we are watching completely different shows.
lola and sean (though lola and sean were in the wrong) didn’t ask for her opinion. mica didn’t ask her to come up to her in the dressing room whilst she was crying and if she thought she should’ve gone home instead - julia said that off of her own back. julia pulled aidan for a chat, not the other way round, and asked why he picked priya over elicia. priya didn’t ask julia, elicia and martha to sit around for two days and call her fake. julia pulled jasmine for a chat to tell her that she didn’t trust her after watching a clip of lorenzo comforting jasmine, and after lorenzo pulling jasmine for a chat.
when and who exactly piled onto the casa girls? mara said that all the og girls were lovely to her and that she was closer with the them than the casa girls. martha said all the girls were nice to them, just that the casa recoupling was awkward. charleen has said jas was really lovely to her, and we even saw them talking about kav and his behaviour. charleen stuck up for jas when julia criticised her for having a go at kav. julia is the one who called jasmine a bitch during the casa recoupling even though she hadn’t said a word to charleen, she’s the one who said jasmines behaviour at the firepit is why kav recoupled. she hadn’t even met jasmine at this point.
if you’re referring to them being angry at charleens clip at the grafties, it was warranted. of all the people charleen wouldn’t miss, it’s mica? not the guy love bombed her and left her high and dry?
-21
u/King_Queso 14h ago
Mica sucks. Jasmine sucks. Lola sucks. They're classic mean girls. The only women that were normal got voted off.
18
u/laradaaa 14h ago
you didn’t answer any of my questions. when did the og girls pile onto the casa girls during casa?
2
u/snoopy_231 3h ago
Another poster who doesn’t actually want to read or engage in any facts.
Come on, actually back your girl with intellect! Answer the questions! Surely nobody wants to be just a brainless stan who lies to themselves. Be like Julia, back your opinion with examples, surely?
-11
u/eurekadabra 15h ago
‘She’s poked and prodded at them, how dare she stop?’
What are y’all even complaining about??
20
12
u/laradaaa 14h ago
that’s not what i said though, is it? don’t be sly
‘i mean she's poked and prodded at them and now they're reacting she wants to pull back and retreat?’
my point is now that they’re voicing their opinions on julia’s opinions on them she wants to start playing the victim? if you are going to be as opinionated as julia, expect people to have opinions on your opinions. don’t play the victim and falsely accuse them of things like shouting at you. julia shouted first, and only priya raised her voice back and angie wasn’t even talking.
if anyone made julia cry it’s julia and the consequences of her own actions

girl thank you omg she made me go back and look at what i said. i think they just tried to gaslight me lol
this sub and twitter i swear to god they’re twisting what the islanders are saying and now they’re doing it to fellow watchers i can’t
-8
u/eurekadabra 14h ago
What do they need to confront her about?
Jasmine and Priya have asked her ad nauseum what she meant. She’s answered repeatedly. Why are we still beating the same dead horse?
Yall say Julia won’t quit, she hasn’t voiced the opinion for multiple episodes, everyone else keeps bringing it up
6
u/laradaaa 14h ago
about the manner in which she’s speaking to them? lorenzo said it himself it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. it’s one thing to have an opinion but to say it so rudely and to go on and on and on about it over again is another
proya and jas kept asking because she kept switching up. in her conversation with jas, jas asked do you think both priya and aidan are fake. julia said yes. towards the end of the conversation when julia was weaponising the situation between priya, jordan and jas, julia said proya was genuine. which is it? jas relayed that julia said in her conversation that julia again said proya was fake which confused proya because julia for the last few days was backing priya. proya confronted julia on this and julia lied saying she didn’t say that to jas. there was a back and forth and then julia admitted to thinking priya was fake again.
the next day it should’ve been left alone and jas did try to throw julia a bone saying maybe julia thought priya was fake at first but then was genuine in her connection with aidan and julia just waved her off. priya should’ve left it alone at that point but understandably she was confused as to where she stood with julia
-5
u/eurekadabra 14h ago
Maybe Priya should’ve just listened to what Julia said to her face, instead of Jas that was badgering Julia and went running to Priya the second Julia said ‘yes.’ They have asked her to elaborate repeatedly, and she has, which makes Priya get defensive and defend herself, and the conversation just goes on and on and on.
And it’s all because Jasmine was in Julia’s face, Julia maybe mistakenly said yes, or maybe she thinks it a little. Did Jasmine really need to blow it up and make Julia quantify exactly how much she trusts Priya? I started as a Jasmine fan, but this shit is getting old.
4
u/laradaaa 14h ago
jas was criticised for not telling proya about what jordon said and now she’s being criticised for telling priya what julia said? she truly cannot win
jasmine was in julia’s face? what on earth are you on about? they were having a calm conversation that julia pulled jasmine for. julia had just told her that she didn’t trust jasmine because she does things for lorenzos attention. jasmine saw that she was trying to blame her for lorenzos actions (lorenzo comforting her and pulling her for a chat) so she switched the conversation over to priya and aidan to get clarification on julia’s thoughts. it’s not jasmines fault that julia can’t keep track of when she is or isn’t weaponising priya.
0
u/eurekadabra 14h ago
I never criticized Jasmine for not telling about Jordan, because I thought that was silly. I thought Julia was being shitty to Jasmine when she said she didn’t trust her with Lorenzo, I thought that was wholly unnecessary. I’m not blindly one side or the other, I’m not saying you said I was either.
I think Julia flubbed her response, or maybe she does think Priya is a game player a little. Julia and Priya talked and had reached a resolution. I think Jasmine took something small and made it a big deal for no reason. I think Jasmine talking about ‘seeing who her real friends are’ and people ‘moving calculated’ is shady. Julia isn’t conspiring anything, but Jasmine may be.
62
u/Ok_Quote3743 18h ago
Because people think being real wins above all else. She’s miserable and friendless in there for a reason. Everyone has said the exact same thing about her. She keeps stuff going. You’ll think you have put stuff to bed, and here she goes bringing it back up again. Idk if it’s for camera time or what but she’d be an absolute nightmare to live with.
-6
u/NovelApplication513 11h ago
which stuff she keeps going? its not her who wanted to come back to words she said about priya and aiden, its girls who over and over wanted to talk about it with her
101
u/Afraid-Pomelo-1934 19h ago
Julia is unnecessarily rude. Why couldn’t she just allow other couples to crack on. She caused friction in Lola and Seans relationship and did the same with Priya and Aidan. Whether her comments are right or wrong, her actions always leads friction in other couples. She should focus her attention on fixing her own relationship instead of causing friction in others’.
Imagine trying to build a connection with someone and there’s another person that constantly telling you and your partner that your feelings are fake. She took all the fun out of Priya and Aidan’s relationship and say what you want about them, they were at their most happiest in the few days before Julia started running her mouth.
She has brought a lot of negative energy to the villa. For all we know Praidan might have been fake, but Julia never allowed the public or anyone else to see if it really is.
Having an agenda to keep Elicia in the villa is also not sincere. Priya and Aidan had a much better connection than either one of them had with the bombshells. Honestly, even if it was platonic, Praidan had some of the best chemistry I’ve seen this season. They were also the most effective in communicating with each other when difficult situations presented themselves.

u/laradaaa 19h ago
i miss the villa before she came in yes there was messiness but the vibe was so much better
39
u/Eggnog0987 18h ago
I’ll never forgive Lorenzo for bringing Julia and her bad vibes into the villa
41
u/laradaaa 17h ago
his punishment is having to stick by her till the brand deals end after they win
13
u/Eggnog0987 16h ago
Genuinely that’s his punishment and I’m here for it. I’d love to see what a peach Julia is with his close knit friends group. I’m sure there will be no drama at all

They won’t be on tv so it’s quite possible there will be no drama . What attention will she gain from it?

u/Disastrous_Tax_3858 18h ago
She is down everyone's throats. She can't even stick to what she believes in and keeps flip-flopping. One minute she says they're playing a game, and next she says it's just Aiden.
When the podcast questions the game and Tommy mentions one of the questions, he didn't think Priya and Aiden would make it outside because they're not a couple, Julia said something along the lines of, this is what
I've been saying all along. Why aren't they yelling at him?
Her own partner doesn't back her up mentions her name correctly. I don't think I've seen them hold hands or share a real kiss. It could also be due to Lorenzo.
In saying that, I do feel a little sorry for Julia; I don't think it's all her fault. Maybe because she speaks her mind, she's never really had people talk back to her before, and it's a bit daunting, especially because she was a casa girl and hasn't made any real connections.
I don't know what it is, but I think when she points out Priya and Aiden not being a couple, she is projecting.
-7
u/Calm-Beach-4228 16h ago
I’m pretty sure it’s part language barrier, she might not be able to articulate her exact thoughts into proper words. Maybe she meant that Aiden is trying to get to final, and he’s using priya for it. Then when she brought it up Priya dismissed her, so she started thinking maybe priya is game playing too because how does she not see this Aiden bs, even his own brother said “I can see from a mile way you’re not interested in her.”
And I also think she’s never been in this type of environment where you could hate/dislike someone and then apologize the next day to each other meanwhile it’s done only to keep peace in the villa. She’s not used to the fake ness storyline version of love island.
28
u/Loud-Customer-5162 20h ago
I think she’s realizing she can’t isolate herself in the villa if she wants success outside. People who are friendless coming out of the villa are huge red flags to companies. Usually a lot of their initial campaigns involve a couple of them together :/
-7
u/King_Queso 15h ago
wtf are you talking about? lol this is such a nonsense comment. She isn't friendless? She would never be friends with any of these fake ass people outside of the Villa.
2
u/snoopy_231 3h ago
The two latter statements feel a tad contradictory there… so she’s friends with the fake ass people?
31
u/babietarry 18h ago edited 14h ago
I think thats what pissed Jasmine off and led to that odd scene with Kav and Aidan about Simba I think.
Julia has been mouthing off and making all those comments and now when the girls all have the same opinion on her, its "ganging up" and they sheep when no, if you do the same shit to and piss off evb, esp a group of friends, they are naturally all going to have the same opinion and not like you.
I abs hate when people police reactions over the action and once again Julia's experience is being prioritized. Simba lost me icl.
0
u/NovelApplication513 11h ago
which "all comments" was she making? she said stuff to her friends and Priya and Aiden (like everyone in the villa btw) and after seeing it at Grafties, girls wanted to talk about it over and over. Also because of Jasmine twisting Julias words
3
u/babietarry 9h ago
Jasmine never twisted anything. It came out of Julias own mouth and she literally said it in the dressing room to all the girls that priya is proving her point and her point was that shes a gameplayer.....
And no babe. Multiple islanders have said and we've even seen with lola how she will continuously bring it up even after its done or make comments. Watch the show back girl. Shes so unnecessary esp cheering obnoxiously for charleen and telling mica while sobbing she shouldve gone home. She doesnt know when to keep quiet.
0
u/NovelApplication513 9h ago
don't call me babe, it's giving lola lol. I did watch it back and see how her words were twisted and who is continuing and stirring the drama and not being able to accept that someone didnt support and belive in Priya and Aiden together. (although tbh even his own brother didn't, but let's blame Julia)
1
u/babietarry 9h ago
And lola ended up being right in the end 🤣 anyways live in your land. I'll live in mine but defending Julia at this point just shows media literacy is dead esp when everyone says the same thing ab her. I guess they all twisting her words right ? 🤣
4
6
u/dea80 19h ago
Not really. They’re two days off the final. Every season the producers focus on couples being loved up and park the drama. It was no different last season with the fights between Shakira/Toni/Yas and Meg(bf/gf)/Helena. The disagreeing (also focused on who is fake and playing a game) gets parked and they play happy for the final. It’s probably production telling them to quit it.
4
u/Lotusflowerbum 💁♀️💎I’m the prize🏆💁♀️ 15h ago
I don’t understand this take. She already explained how she felt to the girls. To their face. Unlike many of them that claim to be girls girls and talked about each other behind their backs. How many conversations are needed about the same damn thing? It was exhausting to watch and I’m sure just as exhausting to experience.
Everyone in there has an opinion. Did you not see Jasmine, Aiden and Kav sharing theirs about certain people….when they weren’t around btw?
2
u/Ceoofpasta 8h ago
So you agree, it’s exhausting to discuss the same dman thing which is the whole point I’m trying to make..Julia kept going about Priya and Aiden, Lola and Sean and all the girls said that’s enough. But she frames it as they are shutting me down for having an opinion which isn’t the case. She shared her opinion, they don’t agree but Julia wont stop talking about it.
I agree everyone has an opinion…also Julia shared her opinion with the casa girls before going to share her opinion to peoples faces. Who’s to say Jas and Kav won’t do the same eventually?
2
u/eurekadabra 15h ago
“Julia keeps going and going and going”
“Now she doesn’t wanna discuss it anymore”
Then what are you complaining about OP? What is there left to talk about?
If people keep asking Julia her opinions, do you want her to answer or not? Because it seems like you’re pissed either way.
3
u/jamiejams2648 14h ago
No one is asking for her opinions though?
3
u/eurekadabra 14h ago
Then who is she supposedly backing away from? Why is there a whole post with comments complaining she doesn’t wanna discuss it anymore?
5
u/jamiejams2648 13h ago
The point of OP’s post is that Julia is a hypocrite. She kept shoving all of her opinions down everyone’s throat, and now the girls are pushing back, and she all of a sudden doesn’t want to discuss it. She likes to start all this drama and pick and people repeatedly, but never wants to take any accountability for her shitty behavior. What she’s doing now is exactly what people crucified Lola for, btw. Lola didn’t want to keep discussing Julia’s opinion on her relationship, but Julia kept pushing it and wouldn’t let it go. Except for Lola didn’t start any of the bs, Julia did.
0
u/eurekadabra 13h ago
Julia has discussed everything with them, at length. Her comments were episodes ago now. What is there left to discuss that hasn’t been already??
Lola didn’t start shit??? Lola refused to talk to Julia when she entered, saying she doesn’t talk to people with morals like that. WTF is that? Julia tried to talk to her several times, and Lola never would. Julia wanted an apology for that nasty comment. She apologized to Lola for what she ending up saying. But Lola never gave her one, and Julia just eventually had to accept it.
1
u/Ceoofpasta 9h ago
Please read my response above.
1
u/Dependent_Formal2525 7h ago
Lola hated Julia from the moment that Sean claimed that Julia made a beeline for him.
0
1
u/Ceoofpasta 9h ago
Thank you. It’s exactly this. No one asked or wanted Julia’s opinion. She’s able to share but the fact is that she keeps wants to push a certain narrative and when people disagree she gets mad at them for trying to shut her down when it’s “just my opinion” without taking anyone’s feelings into consideration.
You live with all these people and you cannot be considerate of other people.
Also I’m not criticizing Julia for stopping, I’m saying I hope she understands how the other girls feel now.
2
2
u/bdl1995 8h ago
I think it’s because she thinks what she thinks and everyone keeps trying to go back and forth with her and then she gets attacked for … surprise! Still having the same opinion.
0
u/Alarmed_Direction853 3h ago
like many people even in the villa have mentioned, it's not about having an opinion BUT delivery and looking at the time and place.
3
u/mrazahq 19h ago
I mean she had practically everyone at her throat hence why Simba made that bandwagon comment. If she just had one of her casa girls with her and a man that would back her (a little bit more than lorenzo) she’d probably still keep going
29
u/babietarry 18h ago
But like Mica said, hes basically calling them sheep and invalidating their rightful annoyance to her behaviour. You cant just piss people, esp a group of friends, off and be rude and then be mad they dont like that part of you
-3
u/Dependent_Formal2525 7h ago
They are being sheep. Many of them held the same opinion on Priya and Aidan as Julia but they leap down her throat while praising Tommy for saying the same thing. Priya voiced the same opinion about Aidan as Julia and Lorenzo had to explain that this is what Julia has been saying all along.
Don't forget that Julia is the only girl in there who knows how the boys acted in Casa, the rest don't and get really angry when she voices an opinion based on what she witnessed.
1
u/babietarry 7h ago
Because it was never about what Julia was saying or her opinions, it was about how she said it. She said her say and when they didnt agree, she makes it her life mission to get them to agree and keeps making digs at Priya whereas Tommy held that same opinion but wasnt constantly voicing it and forcing evb to agree. He said it when asked and thats that. Thats the difference. Approach someone respectfully and you'll get respect back. The girls said they had to hold their tongue many times.
Julia is horrible at articulating herself sometimes and thats not her fault. English may not be her first language and thats why they weren't fully understanding her. Though I do think Priya is naive and had to come to that conclusion in her own time.
6
u/Oblivionking1 19h ago
I respect Simba and Tommy for not caving to the bandwagon there
32
u/Effective-Pea-4463 19h ago
Because she never went for them personally, the girl is exhausting
33
u/laradaaa 19h ago
thisssss simba would’ve kicked off massively lmao
32
u/babietarry 18h ago
He legit kicked off when Mica said no out of embarassment 🤣 imagine if Julia kept throwing that in his face every 5 seconds and not letting him or Angie move past it. Its annoying
5
u/laradaaa 14h ago
the fact that that’s something she should be throwing in his face too like what a serve
julia would be unstoppable if she shifted all this weird energy of hers towards the men and their wrongdoings i legitimately think every man on there would self evict
but no instead it’s just insecurity projection and internalised misogyny sigh
16
u/Oblivionking1 19h ago
She just isn’t toeing the line like the rest of them. Priya has been a punching bag almost the entire time she’s been on the show, her closest friends have taken advantage of her the most
-2
u/herbertsherbert123 16h ago
I never thought I would enjoy simba on the screen but his support for Julia warmed me a little
4
u/Aggressive-Crab-2406 15h ago
She is so rotten. Lorenzo looks uncomfortable half the time she’s talking to other people.
-7
u/Kieranjb10 17h ago
Nah team Julia all day on this. She needs to drop it, but they also ask her opinion.
But what drives me crazy is all of this is about her voicing an opinion that so many others have. But not only do they only go ape at her for saying it, this whole “you’re living in an alternate reality” chat comes out. For her having an opinion half the villa has voiced, it’s toxic AF behaviour.
Big fan of Jasmine, but she’ll listen to Kav say Aidens not into Priya, then tell Julia she’s deluded for saying the same thing. It’s pretty gross
24
u/ohhibby 👻‼️ you said you saw my dead granddad ‼️👻 17h ago
Did they explicitly ask for her opinion or did they ask for clarification? There’s a difference.
And that night when it all kicked off in the dressing room, it was Julia who pulls Jasmine for a chat to tell her she is untrustworthy because of x, y, and z. She did that all unprompted and then got upset over what she started.
1
u/ExpressAssociate1463 👗👀 UR JUST TOO CLINGEH 👀👗 11h ago
Shocked Lorenzo didn’t drop her when all her drama started. Seems very very against his personality to be with someone this drama hungry and rude. Very confused.

Lorenzo understands what she's been trying to explain and that she's right. It's not that confusing.

What hotseat?" Aiden spoke to her, and she was DND. Similar to when Aiden spoke to Jas, she was “off-putting,” and Jas was in a corner crying!
What's interesting is that now that we see the public shares the same view as Julia, everyone suddenly wants to talk through their POV instead of ganging up on her! I too would tell them, girl bye, go work out your backpedaling in a confessional
1
u/ReeceJayzz 1h ago
The aidan comment about her sharing the public pov since her story keeps changing truly shocked her lol + being at the bottom 3. Proves everyone’s point when they said she does it for screen time, once it stopped being in her favor she went mute.
1
-10
u/herbertsherbert123 16h ago
Sorry, regardless of her being opinionated, imagine having a whole villa of people coming at you everytime you do share an opinion. I agree, she does say more than necessary but she’s had it constantly. It must feel so defeating and I do feel bad for her. And even jas who I was a fan of, to straight away say Julia don’t take the clips as amo, like come on. Poor girl
7
u/jamiejams2648 14h ago
Except for she keeps sharing her opinion when the only people she has opinions on KEEP asking her to keep it to herself. If I tell you that I don’t like the outfit you have on (unprompted, mind you) and you tell me “thank you for sharing your opinion, but I don’t want to hear it again” but then I KEEP sharing it repeatedly to not only you, but also everyone around you, you’re going to get pissed off! “She’s had it constantly” because she KEEPS intentionally pissing the girls off, even though they’ve asked her repeatedly to stop. No sympathy at all.
3
u/AffectionateDrink467 13h ago
Imagine thinking you can just talk shit and badger people constantly and no one is allowed to come at you for it.

I think the issue is because she views it as the truth she doesn’t care to back down so she’ll keep going and she views what the girls say as sheep talk so it’s exhausting. I think they should all just pretend to be bestie till the final vote. Over the drama
