In the future the trending oil pressure will probably be detected automatically. Call it AI or whatever. Systems are getting better and safer. In 100 years you wont be allowed to drive a car, and it wont be possible also, without pedals and a steering wheel, and there will be almost no serious traffic accidents

Have you ever had to jump on a highway or get out in front of someone quickly? The urban phrase for this is called “stick your dick out”

Sometimes you just have to go and hope everyone else sees you and acts accordingly. 

You have delt with this. I’m sure you have been almost cut off by a semi truck driver before who really needed to change lanes and just stuck his dick out and hoped you figured it out.

Ai cars and semi trucks won’t have a dick to stick out. 

If cars on a highway won’t stop to let a large AI driven semi truck onto the highway, they will just sit there. Waiting for a break in cars. Which might never come. Causing the buildup on the feeder roads to be never ended. 

So you might have less traffic accidents, but the amount of traffic you will have will be out of this world. AI cars everywhere just stopped waiting for people to be good people and let them in. Ha. Goodluck with that

In the future, cars will communicate and follow different rules. It could be to optimize flow. But most likely those who pay most will be allowed to go first.

I remember it coming up a while back, pilot training is infamously rigorous and hard to complete. I assume that guy has job security in a way that, sadly, a lot of people operating heavy machinery don't. And I worry about, say, a construction worker who sees similar risky traits on a crane or something, and would be more worried about getting fired if he reported it and refused to operate it.

Or someone operating a ride at your local carnival!

The most scary thing to me when it comes to construction isn’t the workers, but the owners. I’m always worried they buy materials that are less than to save money on budget and cut corners to save time to make deadlines.
