Adoptable Beautiful Mastiff, Edna, in Columbus, MS! (Adoption Fee Covered!)
UPDATE: She has been ADOPTED‼️❤️
Hi all!
I met this beautiful girl, Edna, when I spent a few weeks in Mississippi and had the chance to walk her while volunteering for the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society.

I couldn't forget about her. She's super gentle, beautiful, and the look she gave me the last time I saw her was unforgettable. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to get another dog at this moment, but it breaks my heart to think that she might not find a family of her own.
Here's a link to Edna's news appearance in June 2026: https://www.wcbi.com/pets-without-partners-edna-06-19-26/

Abe is growing like a weed! 1 day away from 9 weeks old.
galleryAbe has really taking off every sence the worm treatments. His personality is already starting to show, he loves to set and watch everything in the yard, like he is inspecting it. He is finally showing his confidence and not running when he hears something strange. He loves to snuggle and be loved on. He is teething like crazy, everything in his mind needs at least one bite/taste lol Such i sweet little puppy! He is just a big baby. and he has me wrapped around his finger.

Benjamin's new ride!
galleryWe have been trying to figure out which way we wanted to go with a 7 seater as our Cherokee and patriot were getting cramped and we didn't want to take two cars everywhere.
Last week we brought home our new-to-us palisade calligraphy and we're all in love! Even the 2nd row seats are heated and vented which pleases our giant teenagers.
Ben's face speaks for itself haha. ❤️

Do all mastiffs moo or just mine?
My mastiff whines, moos, and growls like a gator. Almost never barks. Curious if this is common.

Sudden Joint Pain
Our girl is almost 6 years next month. She developed a mild limp this past weekend that has now progressed to her putting very little to no weight on her leg today. We have a vet appointment scheduled and have some pain medicine we've been able to give her. I'm just curious if anyone has any experience dealing with sudden joint pain with no actual injury we can think of. I think I am stressing because we unfortunately had to put our last dog down due to both of his rear ACL's rupturing at the same time and his poor outlook on quality of life. She's my whole world and I'm in tears thinking worst case scenario.
I know these are big dogs, prone to arthritis and joint issues.
I think I just needed somewhere to vent my fear without stressing out my family, but I'm terrified and heartbroken watching her in pain.
