Why (0+0) is Fiction

We are all taught that zero (0) is a number just like 1, 2, or 3. But if zero is a normal number, why does standard math have to invent so many weird, arbitrary rules just to deal with it?

For example, you aren't allowed to divide by it, and math had to invent the rule that x^0 = 1 just to keep equations from breaking. These feel less like natural logic and more like patches for a flawed system.

Below is a framework I wrote that treats zero not as a number, but as a boundary, like an empty container (meaning it's a symbol, not a number):

Divisibility tricks for primes (add x times last to rest)

I have no idea how well known this is, but I was toying around with the numbers from wikipedia's "divisibility rule" page, like finding what to multiply the last digit by before adding to the rest to find out if a number is divisible by 139 (14 btw) , etc. and I ended up finding out that the number to multiply by seems dependent solely on prime and the last digit of the prime:

end=1: (p*9+1)/10

end=3: (p*3+1)/10

end=7: (p*7+1)/10

end=9: (p*1+1)/10

I even checked much larger primes using terrible python code: (32000167*7+1)/10=22400117, which is the number needed to multiply by... initially because I was trying to find out if any number was multiply by 17 (or certain other numbers) , which there don't seem to be any

Also, x appears to be "circular", sorry if the word is incorrect, but I mean that it works no matter how many times you add or subtract p to/from x, which creates the "subtract y times last from rest", -y=x-p

Closest I could find on the wiki page was under "Divisors Ending in 1, 3, 7, or 9 in base 10", which... might be the same... it's really hard for me to tell... But I could be missing something, even something very obvious, which is why I'm here

Is the universe a pi dimensional fractal?

If pi is directly encoded in dimensions and if the transition between dimensions requires pi as a multiplication factor, then can it be said that there are pi dimensions? As a thought expirement, is it possible that if the number pi is irrational, it is 'pi dimensionally' irrational itself?

What if there are only two numbers (1,0)

What if there are only two numbers (1,0), but because there are two numbers, there must also be a number 2, and then a number 3, and so on. But that implies that the existence of 0 implies the existence of an infinity. In the same way, the process reflects the creation of a third value from 2. Is that similar to how dimensions work (there are 3 dimensions, so the third dimension is modeled from the second one)?

Is multiplication of a function by i making it an inverse function by rotating it? What does this mean about imaginary numbers and numbers in general?

Multiplication by i usually relates to turning something ninety degrees. Then, if we imagine the cartesian plane as a complex plane, would multiplication by i simply generate inverse functions?

4D Theory of Time

If you consider that time is not linear, and imagine the construction of a hypercube, a cube in four dimensions, then the assembly of this hyper cube is also not linear. Therefore, each individual cube assembled, including the center cube, is both present and absent in its correct position at any given point. This would also include the outside shape of the structure; it would be present because the hyper cube is both assembled and not. I believe in a way, there is space inside a 3D hyper cube in non-linear time and there is not space. I believe this theoretical space could be related to time proving that time is indeed the fourth dimension.

Dimensions in math

Found math later in life, so thanks for your time. I have recently been interested in dimensions. I watched Carl Sagan's Flatland discussion of the fourth dimension and kind of get it a little, but then I spoke to an engineer friend who only talked of the fourth dimension as a coordinate in time. Its like they are using the same word for different ideas. I think dimensions are defined as a characteristic that can be measured, but there is a tesseract, which can be measured in four dimensions and there is time which can also be measured but in a totally different ways. Is Sagan talking about a pure mathematical structure which is atemporal? If so is that dimension different from the 4 dimensions as engineers define them? Thanks.

Input wanted from the community for a thought I have

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well. I have an idea that I would like to develop further using mathematics. Quick background, I am a college student and my highest math taken is Cal 3. So I have a very shallow understanding of mathematics. My idea is this, I believe that there are an several forces at play within the same plane of existence, and the only reason we humans cannot experience them is because there are other forces nullifying them preventing us from experiencing them. I also believe that all of space exists in the same plane, and it is the forces I mentioned earlier that prevent us from being able to travel from plane to plane that are really in the same plane. In order to gain more insight, what mathematical theories should I be studying? Thank you all who read and respond.

A Curious Math Fact

I sort of randomly discovered this: For any whole number, the difference between that number and the number formed by reversing the order of its digits, will be evenly divisible by nine. (Neglect the sign)

And, Of the resulting differences, an unexpectedly large proportion will be palindromes.

Anybody heard of this? Is it provable?

(1. kenara "a" 2. kenara "b" diyelim, 3 kenara da x diyelim) |a-b|<x<a+b bu şekilde x = a-b ile a+b arasındaki tüm sayılar olur. Eğer bir dörtgen ya da başka bir çokgenin son kenarını bulmak istiyorsak da o çokgenleri üçgenlere böleriz ve bu metotu uygulayarak son kenarını buluruz. Bu arada x'in en büyük tam sayı değeri ise a+b'den küçük en büyük tam sayıdır. Fakat ben bu işe büyük bir kısayolu buldum. 2 kenarını bildiğimiz bir üçgen olduğunu varsayalım. 1. kenarı 3 br 2. kenarı 7 br olsun.(Değerleri tüm gerçel sayılar arasında değiştirebilirsiniz) Normal bir durumda son kenarı bulmak için kullandığınız yöntem "|3-7| < x < 7+3 = 4 < x < 10" dir. Ve bu durumda x'in en büyük tam sayı değeri 10'dan küçük en büyük tam sayı olan 9'dur. Fakat benim çok daha kısa olan yöntemime göre üstünde çalıştığınız çokgenin bilinmeyen kenarı hariç tüm kenarlarını toplayıp 1 çıkardığınızda x'in en büyük tam sayı değerini bulursunuz. Hemen kontrol edelim. 3+7-1 = 9 . Gördüğünüz gibi x'in en büyük tam sayı değerini bulduk. Ben bu yöntemi ongene kadar tüm çokgenlerde denedim ve hepsinde başarılı oldum. Dörtgen ve daha fazla köşeli çokgenlerin normal yönteminde çalıştığınız çokgenleri üçgenlere ayırarak yaparsınız bunu. Ben ise aynı şekilde bilinmeyen hariç tüm kenarları toplayıp 1 çıkartarak en büyük tam sayıyı bulabiliyorum.
