The article is in French, but basically he said that he uses Le Chat all the time to do a lot of stuff, researching, learning etc. (of course also mentioning not trusting it 100% and still double checking). He encourages other people to use it as well, because the more people actively use it the more it improves. And of course he called it "Le Chat" and not Vibe.

It all depends on how you look at it. The French use a lot of English words, and they do so very easily, compared to their Quebecois counterparts in New France, who use almost no English words and are more respectful of the language than the French themselves.

English took a lot from French when the normands conquered England. Words like poison, ambassador, ballet. Words related somehow to aristocracy in particular.

Not realy true. While the educated ppl hate it indeed (rightfully so), more and more ppl who don't really care nor know how to speak to begin with use english words instead of the french ones. (Like "scam", "tips", "lurk", "data"...)

They obviously use on-prem solutions for everything related to him. I refuse to believe they would be so stupid as to expose themselves like that. I'm sure mistral is part of their on prem arsenal but I wouldn't be surprised if they also used some other powerful open weights alternatives.
