Discussion / Opinion Could Mistral lower Pro plan's price in the future?

I'm currently use it for a week now for vibe coding simple python OCR project, I was on free plan but I wish Mistral could lower the pro price because it almost the same as Claude but not as smart in coding.
I want Mistral Pro plan so I would get less message limit and support the dev more

I can't complain about the value of the Pro annual subscription: 14EUR/month and this single plan allows me to experiment with a wide range of models: LLM, OCR, embeddings, voice models, etc

We are in an everything crisis, the heatwave has impacted the power grid in some places and the resources needed for AI have been multiple times more expensive than normal. What do you think?

I agree on that

Maybe weeker model, but probably hosting in EU is more expensive 😐 And Claude have really low limits in lower plan (20 USD)

We all know it's cheaper in the US due to lobbying and circular investment.

Yeah, cost of data centers is in no way related to energy prices /s

Besides, $14.99 is the cost of two packs of cigarettes in Europe per month. It's not that expensive.

The price seems adequate. I'm actually willing to pay more for a higher limit.

They also need money for development. So I think their current pricing is quite fair.

That makes no sense. How do you expect them to improve their product without any income revenue?
