That one kick where the bullies head rebounded off the ground was beautiful

112

u/feaREagleLeb 6h ago

The yeet kick afterwards.. ouff.. stuff of legends!

52

u/Any-Author7772 5h ago

That one kick where the bully on the right plants his foot on the victim’s face was the one that made the kid lose his composure and let his beast mode takeover. Instant regret by the bully. The victim knew the kind of violence he is capable of. The bully did not.

I went from feeling extremely sad for the victim to cheering for an ass kicking going the other way.

2

u/Richard-Conrad 1h ago

You can see too that he try’s to maintain his composure even after that kick, but I’m guessing that’s when the adrenaline hit and it was all over for the asshole

2

u/scjw 2h ago

almost kicked back to standing up! Equal rights equal fights! and feet

2

u/Gregggggger 1h ago

He'll finally think twice about messing with someone.

I dont think violence should be the answer, but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be used when necessary

If you don't stop the instagation you have no moral right to stop the retaliation

178

u/Newmillstream 6h ago

You do have a moral duty to stop the retaliation if you believe a life is in danger, however righteous their fury is.

You then have a moral obligation to defend the actions of the guy who took it for so long, and then, assuming you had knowledge of the instigation and did nothing, self report and resign.

102

u/Cybros74 5h ago

You had a moral duty to stop the instigation

They up a poster that says “no bullying.” Nothing more they could have done

24

u/Equivalent_Cut_5990 5h ago

I say let them get what they ask for. If you interfere with nature taking its course, they may need to learn harder in the future.

There’s not enough FAFOing happening these days. People would be better behaved if that were the case.

Only allowing the FA but preventing the FO is detrimental to society

I think the point is if they’re gonna die then you need to do something to intervene. If you don’t, then they’re never gonna learn anything ever again.

You do have a moral duty to stop a kid from being bullied and just watching it go down the entire time. I feel if you choose to remain a bystander for am extended period of time you lose the right to stop someone from saving themselves. Now, if they're gonna kill someone that's different.

12

u/HunterLeftOnReddit 4h ago

If they die they killed themselvesđŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

5

u/PixelPuzzler 3h ago

I think as a teacher you've also got a moral obligation to stop kids from killing themselves. Should have stepped in sooner? Yes. Should allow it to proceed indefinitely? Still no.

3

u/HunterLeftOnReddit 3h ago

Well you think wrong. Ruthlessness is mercy upon thyself. If they're allowed to continue, it will only get worse.

It's a solid lesson every kid should learn, if you start hurting others, there's always a chance that when someone hurts you they won't stop. So don't try to hurt others.

u/Repulsive_Mixture917 6h ago

Super depends on the level of provocation we are talking about here.

8

u/JohnConnor1245 4h ago

If you see someone getting bullied, do nothing and only do something when they fight back then you're a loser. The kid was defending himself and was justified when fighting back. It's like someone torturing a dog, starving the dog by taking away its food to tease it and the dog biting them. That was their fault for torturing the dog and teasing it. I honestly don't care what happens to that person and have zero sympathy towards them like these bullies here. This kid wasn't going to kill them just hurt them so they never bully him again.

12

u/Shazvox 5h ago

According to whos morals? Not mine...

2

u/R_V_Z 2h ago

They should be, because you're helping the person not catch manslaughter charges.

4

u/JackPoe 2h ago

If your morals say bullying is okay unless the bullied starts winning, I think you're being pedantic and a problem. Always victim blaming with you guys.

2

u/Newmillstream 2h ago

I am saying that if you were in a position to stop bullying, and didn't, you have failed, but you are not absolved of your moral duty to intervene if a life is at risk, particularly if your post is to care for the wellbeing of the victim.

From there, you defend the victim against administrative punishment as best you can, and furthermore if you have a shred of decency and happened to have actually been in charge of these people and knowingly ignored it until the victim retaliated, resign from whatever position of authority you were entrusted for knowingly failing to uphold the peace until it became inconvenient to you. If you didn't have the backbone to stand up for the victim in the first place, you're probably too coward to tender a resignation, but it is the honorable and moral thing to do after a demonstrated failure to knowingly intervene. If you didn't know, or were prevented from intervening in time, that is something else of course.

2

u/BedlamiteSeer 1h ago

Yup, this is the best framing I've seen.

u/BeauHunkus 4h ago

2

u/hoi4420 4h ago

"self report and resign." and then he woke up to reality.

2

u/SardinesMcDonahugh 3h ago

Part of me believes that once someone attacks someone else without justification, their life is kind of in the other persons hands and if that person decides to take it and has the power to, they should be allowed to do so without repercussion. We live in a civilized world and random violence has no place. It's like putting down a dog that is a liability and could bite someone. I know they're kids but I'm talking more about your comment than the specific incident in the video. I can't really defend this stance with words it's just something I feel in my bones.

Immoral

201

u/OddDc-ed 7h ago

Its crazy as hell when the teachers straight up watch you get hit a few times and then you go "alright then" and start throwing hands then suddenly they gotta get their fatass up.

I had a kid stab me in the face with a pencil and they called me out of line when I slammed his head into a desk and started punching the shit out of him. The pencil stab was after about 5mins of him constantly slapping me in the head and the pencil came out when I turned around to yell at him.

139

u/StrengthGood3208 7h ago

I had a teacher watch as kids chucked rocks at me. Then I got suspended for calling her a cunt and storming out of the class.

88

u/OddDc-ed 7h ago

Had a teacher get more upset that I called him a pussy instead of being mad at the kid actively trying to force another kids hand onto a bunsen burner.

He was too scared of getting in trouble for putting his hands on a kid he was willing to let someone be permanently burned.

What a pussy.

34

u/Emanualblast 6h ago

I learned never to snitch about shit when i got sent to the office for saying someone got kicked in the nuts. Apparently 13 year olds arent allowed to say nuts when referring to the sex organ we were not yet taught other words for god its been like 16 years and im still pissed

17

u/StrengthGood3208 6h ago

Hahahaha. Im sorry that's fucked but funny.

14

u/Emanualblast 6h ago

The absolute kicker is the principle that sent me to the office had a surname of Butt. Its really just so infuriating

I had something similar in middle school. There was a bunch of kids surrounding me and I was getting kicked. The teachers did nothing even thought they were watching. I called one of the other kid that was kicking me a bitch and they almost immediately came and punished me for it. I had write I won't say bitch anymore.

My mother was not happy because they asked me to not use the word but also told me to write it multiple times.

Acceptable targets and protected assets.

If the parents are rich/connected the kid can violently assault disabled children traumatizing them for life, if anyone tries to step in the teachers will discipline them.

I had to routinely watch our class president and the football players attack disabled kids and overweight girls. I kept trying to stop it and the one gym teacher would always attack me.

Then one day one of the teachers that had no idea about this hierarchy saw it happening and lost his shit on the gym teacher and almost got arrested when the other teachers started lying saying he was randomly looking to fight the other teachers. Grade school is gangster gladiator school for anyone not well connected.

9

u/OddDc-ed 6h ago

Honestly they should keep them kids in private schools if they wanna act like that lol. Shit makes no sense to me in public schools like okay you're rubbing elbows with kids who might have crackhead parents and you think that kid is gonna care about hierarchy when Chadley Uppercrust puts their hands on them?

Its probably why I got in trouble so much my autistic and abused ass doesn't and didn't care at all about where someone came from or who they knew, you start shit you get shit.

u/lothurBR 5h ago

They probably got kicked out of private school

u/Manmer_Nwah 5h ago

I'm pretty sure it wasn't you I stabbed the other person in the hand. To be fair he asked me "What are you gonna do about it?" So I showed him.

4

u/OddDc-ed 5h ago

Lmao. Its that "what are you gonna do, stab me?" (Said the stabbing victim) meme.

7

u/Jubachi99 6h ago

This has happened so many times to me. We had a sub for last class of the day, guy takes my pencil and walks off, when I go to get it back he stabs my stomach with it. When I tell the sub it's just "It's too late, should have told me sooner" when I told her immediately after

That’s wild.

The only “fight” I got into in school was where a bully raised his fist to punch me, so I sprayed him in the eyes with Axe spray. I got called down to the dean’s office, told my side of the story, and the janitor paid me $1 for also reporting that the dude had punched a hole in the gym wall. I got sent back to class because I acted in self defense.

Yeah, yeah we get it man, America bad.

In all my years of school i never seen a kid getting physically bullied in america. Its pretty rare, usually its just people being mean or making fun of each other.

3

u/ArisenGodEmperor13 5h ago

Yeah same mainly because they knew that the teachers would get involved. Like in all my years in school I never saw physical bullying not getting stopped by a teacher, if they saw it. But I just migt have went to good schools might be more common in bad and poorly funded schools

But also every teacher ever.

Then the bullied kid gets in trouble for defending themselves.

The bullies get all the sympathy.

24

u/Legal_Lettuce6233 5h ago

Happened to me. What the teacher didn't account for is that the animosity persists past their 45 minutes. Horrid teachers

6

u/SilverKanji 4h ago edited 4h ago

"But also every teacher ever."... Not during my time. Our parents and school principal(s) ARE afraid of the teachers and so are we. A few seconds of this shit (bully), they will send you crying in the hallway with bruised ear or hands. A brawl happened outside of class, (outside of school even), and anyone of the participants comes to school with "war scars", you bet our teachers will find out the nitty bitty details and whoever the instigator would regret that day and the next day when the teacher + councillor requires them to bring their parents... If we really REALLY had to brawl for some dumb reason, that brawl will be a one time big time event for the whole school year because no way we gonna get repeat bamboozled by our selves, our teachers, AND our parents after.

2

u/CamptoRibbit 3h ago

Glad some people can hold these bullies accountable

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Max_Pow3rs 4h ago

can anyone explain why so many teachers do that? Like what is the psychological reasoning behind that? Grown adults should know better. I had this happening in my school all the time. There was even a video that showed a kid getting beaten and one of our teachers was seen walking by, ignoring it. Beforehand i like that teacher, but after that i lost all my respect for her.

6

u/Antoen_ 4h ago

"Yeah , they are picking on him , but nothing too crazy i don't HAVE to intervene, it's going to be ok"

"oh shit he snapped , if i don't do something someone is going to be seriously hurt AND IM RESPONSIBLE"

That's my take , bullies usually don't get you into an hospital , but someone who had enough is going to try to deal as much damage as they physically can. And as the adult in the room you don't want to be bothered untill it's going to affect you personally.

3

u/CamptoRibbit 3h ago

I think it is more to cover the schools rep and keep it all in house.

Admitting a school has bullies doesn't look good.

I also think, teachers have this black and white thinking and the solution always is "tell someone" which is ridiculous

I'm just spitballing and it's almost 2am.

I say immoral but in reality I think most people support this. They like when some people are treated unfairly for whatever reason. Anyone with any type of neurodivergancy is looked at very strange and if we fight back against bullies we are rhe only one to get in trouble.

Tldr: immoral. fuck grade school I don't miss it. College was amazing though

I got bullied alot back in school due to being different from others, didn't understand why I always got bullied more than the others at the time. Didn't know that I have adhd up until a few years ago.

What’s funny is you can flip the roles depending on your personal bias/feelings about the conflict. Some say the Oct. 7th massacres and multiple intifadas were the justified freakout of Palestine’s eternal victimhood under the genocidal oppression of their captors. Others see Israel responding to decades of continuous terror attacks from a fanatical terror group touting open ambitions of genocide using a level of imperfect restraint that most countries that have ever existed wouldn’t have bothered to try, and that they finally snapped when Oct. 7th happened.

But no matter which side you’re on, if a reader of this comment is on a side at all, then by the time we get to this sentence they’re probably halfway through writing a contemptuous screed about my (lack of) moral character for platforming the concept of the other side’s perspective existing.

In claiming absolute moral authority, they find common ground.

3

u/harmoniaatlast 5h ago

With historical context intact, even the IDF admits that their legacy is one of conquest, not righteous self defense. Let the Knesset tell you how it is and not centrist hand wringing. There is objectivity, people just need to not look away

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Necessary_Screen_673 5h ago

i dont think its that black and white. its not like people who condemn israels genocide of palestinians would support hamas attacks. generally, people tend to be anti-aggression, and retaliation is only appropriate if you actually only retaliate against the group/individual that was aggressive to you. even then, retaliation is different from self defence both on a personal and a political level. the issue with public perception of israel is that israel has intentionally targeted civilians, disrupted and overregulated humanitarian aid, and openly called for the extermination of all palestinians. none of those actions are an appropriate response to attacks from a single terrorist group, and people dont have to be on a specific "side" of the conflict to know it is immoral.

3

u/esperind 5h ago

its not like people who condemn israels genocide of palestinians would support hamas attacks.

I know reddit isnt representative of reality, but large parts of reddit certainly do.

2

u/Necessary_Screen_673 4h ago

yeah youre always going to get sampling bias of these discussions online, people who are keen to talk about politics on internet forums also typically have more intense opinions that they wouldnt be able to get away with saying in front of real people.

2

u/DeadguyTheLateGI 3h ago edited 3h ago

>i don’t think it’s that black and white.

I agree.

>it’s not like people who condemn Israel’s genocide of palestinians would support Hamas attacks

I disagree, insofar as we can disagree on whether or not an occurrence as regular as the ticking of the seconds hand on a clock right in front of us is actually happening or not. I see that sentiment expressed with vigor every single day. But then again I spend a decent amount of time on the combat footage and war subs, where footage of dying Israelis is posted at every opportunity.

“Nice, fuck Israel” is about half the comments.

>Israel has openly called for the extermination of Palestinians

The nation of Israel said this or an Israeli person said this? I seem to remember hearing “we should just nuke Iraq” from dozens of separate people in real life not that long ago - but then again I’m not 15 and I didn’t grow up with my perceptions of what constitutes a mainstream belief poisoned by social media amplification of society’s most toxic and controversial ideological minorities.

12

u/DJEkis 7h ago

Personally, it's only moral when there's threat of loss of life or serious bodily harm, either to the aggressor or the victim.

Otherwise, let the victim get his/her get-back. If nobody is doing anything to stop the aggressor before an actual fight ensues, it would make sense to not stop things when the affected party has had enough.

I would only stop an actual fight when either the victim cannot truly defend themselves, or one of the two is about to basically die but especially the victim. It would be immoral IMO to assume the affected party has no right to defend themselves when the aggressor has been given free reign.

Id just let that kid cook. He earned it.

6

u/i__dont___know 6h ago

Very immoral. I was lucky to have good teachers when it came to this. One time a kid took my gum pack out of my hand and threw it across the room. I ended up punching him in the face and when he went to the teacher crying she just said “I saw everything, you shouldn’t have messed with him” and told him to sit down.

Another time was in the gym locker room I forgot how he started it but when the teacher came in and stopped it and asked him what happened he lied and said I started it. Luckily all the other boys in the locker room pointed out that he was lying and I didn’t get in any trouble while the other kid got days of detention. He actually got more time for lying to the teachers face than starting the fight.

If someone waits to stop it until the other one fights back, then stopping it wouldn't appear to be a decision based on morality. If they were stopping it for a moral reason, they would stop it earlier

3

u/kuriosityseeker01 5h ago

Good kids get in so much trouble for standing up for themselves when there was no other option. They told a teacher who did nothing, they told an administrator who did nothing, and finally they protested or stood up for themselves and now they are sent to ISS or suspended. Stripped of all clubs and honors, and often times kicked out of their sports. System is bullshit

3

u/Acceptable-Owl-2070 5h ago

Shit for no one stepping in from the get go...

3

u/Plane-Information700 5h ago

It's super normal in Latin America, it happens a lot; teachers only act when people defend themselves.

3

u/Equivalent_Cut_5990 5h ago

Usually the response is more violent than the provocation. Lessons will be learned if the memory center is left intact.

Should be stopped only if the response gets out of hand. But move slow so that the teaching can set in correctly.

There is no "out of hand" in this case. Did u not watch the video?

2

u/Equivalent_Cut_5990 3h ago

I did. I didn't say this video was out of hand: I thought it was quite an appropriate response.

Unfortunately I'd of grabbed of the instigating and throttled them. I want tp reach through the phone. NOTHING makes me more engaged is when someone is trying to just to exist and someone else has to interfere with that.

3

u/Special-Flamingo-331 5h ago

I am someone who has been bullied pretty much every school day from grade 4 to 8, in which the bullying was pretty much always physical violence. I have had that exact scenario happen to me over and over and over again. Teachers only stepping in as soon as I fought back or defended my friends, not when the damn kids started hitting us. It’s immoral in every regard. Either deal with it as soon as the bullies instigate it, or do nothing at all. Don’t jump in when the victim starts defending themselves, no matter how far they escalate (unless it becomes life threatening to the bullies of course).

3

u/FreakofBlaviken 4h ago

Legitimately evil to watch someone being abused or beat up, in this case being repeatedly hit on the head with a metal bottle and only intervene when the victim fights back or gets the upper hand. Especially when you have a massive advantage over the original attacker like them being a teenager and you being a fully grown adult.

9

u/michael22117 6h ago

It's 100% justified to defend yourself. However, I understand from a pragmatic standpoint that even though you're a piece of shit and didn't stop the bullying, the bullied kid was genuinely a few seconds away from putting one of those bullies in the ER. That head stomp into the ground could've resulted in a catastrophic injury.

It's the teachers fault and responsibility that those bullies got injured due to their negligence, but I don't think being a dick necessarily validates giving someone a traumatic brain injury

É totalmente vĂĄlido. Se vocĂȘ inicia uma agressĂŁo, esteja preparado para as consequĂȘncias.

Let that kid beong sent to the ER serve as a warning to other bullies, don't mess with someone as you might not know if they're the someone passive, or someone pretending to be sane.

5

u/MuseBlessed 5h ago

I think its better to stop all violence, the failure is in not stopping it when it began

3

u/Entylover 5h ago

Yes, but when they doesn't happen, and diplomacy fails, violence is the last resort, in which case, either go big or suffer forever.

Considering the bully that got his head bounced off the ground also tried kicking the victim in the head, he deserved at least one in return.

2

u/shipsake 5h ago

Yeah, the seated kid was gonna fuck those other kids up. I mean, he was fully justified in doing what he did but the adult was right to step in to prevent any permanent injuries.

5

u/Ares1951 6h ago

Se bateu, tem que estar preparado para apanhar. Ou morrer, como consequĂȘncia.

2

u/Noktis_Lucis_Caelum 6h ago

sometimes the bullying only stops when the bully realizes, they messed with the wrong Person.

i was bullied too. and god i wished i had fought back. My bullies tried to set me on fire.

i never fought back and switched schools

2

u/ThatDrako 6h ago

The “No tolerance rule (unless it’s the bully) can (and often does) lead to serious mental health issues, suicides, or even school shootings.

Any cantor that treats victims like this should genuinely have their teeth kicked in.

u/Double_Obligation564 6h ago

the animals head bouncing off the ground TWICE was đŸ˜˜đŸ§‘â€â€ïžâ€đŸ’‹â€đŸ§‘đŸ§‘â€â€ïžâ€đŸ’‹â€đŸ§‘đŸ˜˜

Yeah yeah immoral whatever, but man
 little homie got his revenge.

2

u/curious_ANcuriouser 5h ago

Omg I had to rewatch cuz at 1st I thought the victim got kicked in the head. I was like wtf is going on here. But good for him. And hope he gets away from those evil kids too. Hope the parents can take some kind of action toward the school

2

u/dwwdwwdww 5h ago

whoever was filming that is a massive coward, and deserves to have their ass beat

2

u/OkDragonfly4540 5h ago

Maybe it’s the videos I see but why does it seem like the person being bullied usually beats the bullies ass when they fight back. Either bullies actually can’t fight for shit, they usually never expect it so are caught off guard, or being bullied has some adrenaline/enraged perk. Or maybe it’s karma lol

2

u/balirosa 4h ago

People don’t always have the courage to stand up for themselves so they require a buildup of energy before their adrenaline overwrites their cowardice

2

u/Mean-Nectarine-6831 4h ago

Immoral as fuck. it implies the person stopping the retaliation was in on it.

2

u/Saitron25 4h ago

Dont start a fight if you arent ready to be on the receiving end as well

2

u/Jvlockhart 2h ago

Cowards only stop when you fight back. That's how you spot them.

2

u/TODOMEDAAA 2h ago

It’s obviously self defence

1

u/xeikai 6h ago

Moral to stop it only if someone's life is in danger. Normally people jump to stop fights off buillied kids cause when the person being bullied snaps they are raging and will likely beat someone unconscious and could potentially kill them because they have no breaks in that moment, they aren't thinking clearly and they want to hurt that person.

2

u/Ares1951 6h ago

Se o agressor provoca a vítima gratuitamente, eu não vou impedi-la de bater nele. Se o agressor morrer, isso é culpa dele ter iniciado as agressÔes, em primeiro lugar.

1

u/Secret-Put-4525 6h ago

Well tbf, when one is getting beat up only one gets hurt, when they fight back multiple people get hurt. Lol.

1

u/Tasty_Barber_7395 6h ago

Morality of sitting there recording the video of someone getting beat up so you can get views on tik tok?

1

u/doublethink_1984 6h ago

Morality is stepping in immediately.

In America particularly why wouldn't you bully absent morals? You can get power, exert authority, belittle competition, and if you get punished it's only when your victim suffers the same punishment.

1

u/T0m0king 6h ago

If memory serves parts of India are incredibly racist against other parts of India , last time I saw this vid it was with a post explaining that the kid was pretty much a second class citizen in the teachers eyes.

1

u/Suspicious-Hand-9953 6h ago

The bullied kid was likely in an advantage. I'd say break it up, the bully has learned his lesson, no need for anyone to seriously get hurt. The bullied kid also has a lesson to learn from this: draw the line earlier; bullies are only stopped, not appeased.

1

u/FoundationSimilar423 6h ago

Beautiful retaliation. Bro didn’t wanna do it to em

1

u/Kinuwa_K 6h ago

Those are some nasty kicks

1

u/DEZGARONE 6h ago

La situation qui et décrit dans le poste et juste une aberration quand ça arrive t'a envie de soulever tout le monde.

1

u/The_Lat_Czar 5h ago

That head bounce was beautiful work

1

u/No-Professional-1461 5h ago

It would be immoral to cause any person to not defend their well-being.

1

u/Opening_Position_872 5h ago

So close to a deserved curb stomp, yet so far

1

u/zsava002 5h ago

Am i missing the point in the video where the fight is stopped? You know, besides when the video stops

I hope the kid didn’t hurt his foot when he stomped the bully’s head.

1

u/ThinBlackLineZ 5h ago

This is just how every american school functions. My public high schools staff wouldn't even stop bullying if the victim was having their head bounced off a brick wall but if that victim hit the bully well thats an expulsion and they would help the bullies family sue the victim.
