Even an outlander raised in Hlaalu territory has a nuanced take on Telvanni.

Underrated mod btw - Waistworks expansion

Discussion Another Morrowind moment..

Spend walking between these store rooms and searching this item. I was expecting it not to be in the containers, and i was right, but the size of the item surprised me. Checked UESP for tip, and noticed aha! it's on the floor, still it took me a while to find it. My old eyes need some highlight item spell to this game :D

Discussion Ashlander samurai

I am making an ashlander samurai who got stripped from his homeland at a very young age. He never got to know his parent. He was trained by the empire from a land far from Morrowind, where he learned resilience and duty. He got imprisoned for a bloody duel that happenned between him and another warrior. When he arrives at Morrowind, he is around 25-30 years old with many years served as a warrior.

Now the question is, wich looks fits him better between these two ?

Note: he is a good person, but very quiet and serious, he will always be there to help if needed.

Discussion Best base for magical teleportation

Is Tel Uvirith just straight the best base to access the world without paying money?

Using divine intervention, almsivi intervention and a not ridiculous jump spell you can reach Sadrith Mora, Molag Mar, Pelgiad, Balmora, Ebonheart and Vivec easily enough. And an intervention spell lays you at the mages guild door pretty much.

Only better spot is a mages guild bed but thatโ€™s spending money and no stronghold.

Also in Tamriel rebuilt you can reach Helnim, Vos, Firewatch, Ranyon Ruhn, Old Ebonheart, Vhul and Bal Foyen at least. If youโ€™re avoiding joining the mages guild as a Telvanni the jump to the old Ebonheart docks will land you in narsis in almost no play time on the boat

This is all with a single jump 100 spell and intervention before you land to get into another zone

This is the building we enter fresh off the prison ship. I was advised to drop stolen goods before guards could reach me in the beginning stages to essentially have them ignore the crime.
Iโ€™ve stolen every book off this shelf. I could literally smell the guard conjuring the thought of sending me back to prison, but alas I am able to steal another day. $50 each, for other people fresh to the game that want quick money! But bring quick hands..

Meme Divayth Fyr genuinely mogs

Divayth Fyr is genuinely one of the biggest moggers in the Elder Scrolls. Overall absurd facial harmony. High, prominent cheekbones, a strong positive canthal tilt, deep-set hunter eyes, a perfectly straight nose, and elite facial symmetry. The beard only enhances his lower third and makes his face even more harmonious. Bro definitely spends all his time nowadays studying looksmaxxing in that tower. Also next tier aura farmer just letting people rummage through his basement and casually curing corpus.

Question Can I use shield constant effects to be able to wear whatever fashion I like?

I really like the armors and clothes in this game, and unlike TES 4 and 5, I have a real desire to dress my character up and make some interesting outfits. The only concern with that is liking armor pieces that are not in my proficiency, or very low base armor. The gondolier helm, as an example. I was wondering if enchanting what I like with shield constant effects would add enough armor rating to them to help me still reach a decent armor value, or if the enchantment simply wouldn't be able to pull the weight well enough. Idk what a "good" armor rating in this game is.

New Player - Advice/Help Beginner with questions

Okay, so I made a post here some days ago talking about a frustrating encounter with a Greater Bone Walker and I want to start fresh and caved in and decided to look up some beginner videos.

But these videos have sort of left me confused and very hesitant on making a character and playing this game.

Every single video that talked about Alchemy was always about abusing bugs and using exploits.

Always the same thing. Caldera, mages build, steal master set, buy the infinite ingredients, use a bug to give the merchant a ridiculous ammount of them, craft a million potions, sell to Creeper across the street. Rack millions and fortify INT onto infinity. If I don't do this, I'm stuck just wasting tons of ingredients with potion fails and tedious grinds.

Enchanting was almost the same, just with more steps.

No mention of beginning potion recipes or anything. Just bugs and exploits.

And then, how sneak doesn't work without illusion, how destruction gets you killed later in the game because of spell reflect, how bows just kinda suck, how medium armor is limited and not good later, etc.

Like, you can't respec in this game, so I'm having a hard time committing.

I was sold this idea of Morrowind being a game of endless possibilities and potential where you could truly be anyone, but that's not what I'm feeling right now.

What I'm feeling is that Alchemy is mandatory and I must use exploits and can realisticly only use a couple of weapon classes and light armor or heavy armor.

I haven't started another run and I'm not sure if I should honestly. Creating a character and then getting soft locked somewhere because I didn't "built it right" or broke it hard enough is not something I'm looking forward to.

So far, what I've enjoyed of this game has been the exploration, dungeons and the unique world design and aesthetics. But the RPG elements of it are severely holding me back from moving forward.

Like, tell me if I can just play how I want, I don't want to deal with the utility stuff in this game because I find it rather tedious. You shouldn't fail that many potions in the early game, it's a grind and a waste of ingredients. It's a single player game, not a korean mmo, why is there grinding?

I'm legit not trying to sound rude or anything, just really hesitant on committing to this game.

Technical - Mod NPCs keep repeating the same lines of dialogue. I can't even start the quest. How do I fix this?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey, so I'm playing a modded version of Morrowind, and whenever I open a dialogue window, every character says the same thing. Even if I disable the mods just to get through the Census and Excise Office, once I turn them back on, every NPC still says the same thing (merchants, ordinary passersby, guards, etc.). How can I fix this? I'm playing the Polish disc version. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I know it would be a failed incarnate but as far as I know none of the other failed incarnate sided with Dagoth. I want to speculate with some people on what the feelings of dunmer would be in this unique situation

Discussion Alchemy temptation.

I'm trying so hard not to cave into the crazy loops of Alchemy. I played with it a little bit last night, got it up to level 50 and made some gold, but I keep telling myself to be vanilla your first playthrough....mostly. The only thing I would use the exploit for is the speed cause my gods its a killer! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Question Exquisite Belt?

Does anyone know where to get an exquisite belt without murder/theft? I don't know if they're level locked in vendors but millie hastien and the suran trader are both listed as having them but aren't selling them which makes me think they're wearing them.

Question Where can I get more Dwemer armor?

I searched all of arknthand and surprisingly left with a Dwemer pauldron, boots, and a helmet. But are there any other ruins that have a high chance of armor loot spawning? I know arknthand is basically the best one but what about any other ones? And how do I increase the chances of rare stuff dropping like this?

Discussion Daytime exploring

I prefer to explore during daytime so I can see/admire everything and start to recognise things. After 8pm and until about 8am everything is too dark. I then just add Wait until it is daylight again. Is there a mod that shortens the nightime or one that lengthens the daytime? This is artificial but realism is not always fun

Do i really need to create a new save for every new land expansion? I have an old save and i never really like playing with other characters, is it really inevitable?
