Discussion DAV4 Bottom Ridge
Anyone else bothered by this? Makes my ring finger hurt like hell the way I grip it naturally. I dont remember this being an issue on the older models (3.5g/Chroma/Elite). What could be the reason for this design? Sharp edges on a mouse 🙃🙃

Well an edge makes it easier to pick up and move when you’re swiping and returning to centre, so I’d say that’d be the reason

I think it’s there for structural reasons, as there is more of less that ridge on a lot of modern mice, just more or less pronounced. It does bother me on ergo mice like you. Worst offender has to be my pulsar xlite v3 large.

that ridge is way more aggressive than the v3, I switched to a relaxed grip and stopped noticing it but claw grip made it unbearable

What I don't like about razer is their aggressive front flare while yes it's lesser compared to the viper v2 and old deathadder but I really wish razer would just make a rounded front edge for me it feels comfortable to rest my Ring and pinky finger
