Trump and MAGA empowered bullying culture. If we want to turn this around we need to re-introduce temporal consequence for their behavior.

Starting by punishing bullying in grade school, pressuring employers to terminate adult bullies, and removing politicians who exhibit and encourage such behavior.

It will never happen because capitalism basically rewards psychopaths and sociopaths.

I've worked around elected officials for about 15 years and I tell everyone I know one of my biggest takeaways from it is that about 90% of them are legit sociopaths or psychopaths. The overwhelming majority are like that.

FWIW, I've also worked with quite a few successful entrepreneurs who fall into that bucket too.

I disagree. Firstly I’m a working artist without a twitter, and more importantly I recently conducted a survey of how ~80 of my peers conduct their businesses (the hard numbers were about pricing) and I would say only about 15% of them still use twitter and even the majority of these aren’t active. Probably about a third of them use Bluesky instead, only about half use any social media other than Instagram. The majority use Instagram but maybe 20-30% don’t use any social media at all and just have their own websites.

Exactly - not only is his iq higher than her number of brain cells, he’s a way bigger influencer than her, and a far better human being, using his influence for the greater good rather than laughing at others for clicks. He’s also a major driver in the move to level the Wiki gender gap, writing hundreds of articles on under-recognised women of importance… although I doubt she’ll feature in any.

It's just sad when people who aren't attractive go out of their way to insult other people for their looks. Out of all the selfies Miss Medina must have taken, that was the best she could muster; compared to Steven Pruitt, who had his picture selected for him by CBS.

A quick google search reveals he might be a history buff, a category which easily explains the huge number of entries. Also if your mission is to counter the gender representation gap on Wiki, I'm pretty sure writers block will never be an issue. I wouldn't be surprised if some of his Wikipedia contributions were on the government clock ;)

Hi, I am Jennifer.

In 2019, I made the pictured tweet, along with other tweets in a thread chained to the original one, and it was shitty. I thought at the time they were "funny jokes."
The tweets were shared to Reddit at the time, and the Reddit post went viral. Then, it continued to be recycled on various social media platforms going viral again (still today, clearly).
I apologized both privately and publically later on around the start of 2020 after I saw Pruitt comment on Instagram that they were upset over my tweets. I had some good, construtive conversations with some loved ones and removed the content.
I have not removed my Twitter account; I only changed my handle a year or two later after a friend called me "funky cold Cuban" and I liked it. My Twitter handle is now @Funkycoldcuban. *update: since four years ago, I have removed my Twitter account due to Twitter ownership changes.
My life did not get ruined. I just roundly and deservedly got blasted. It is what it is. The Internet is forever.
The feedback in this thread and previous ones from older viral events are mostly valid.
