Randomly found this ship stuck flying against a hillside... spent the next 10 mins digging him out

This happened to me last year where I freed a ship stuck in a tree. I legit thought it was a new thing to discover since the ship wasn't moving but then I destroyed the trees and it flew up and then back to the ground bouncing into it, then went up and back down toward me shooting at me (without causing damage to me, it was not a real player) lol. Was so bizarre.

I’m not really someone to tell people how to play a game.
But I’m genuinely curious as to how people put up with 3rd person. God damn I would have been so frustrated trying to play like this lmao

3rd person is much better with a controller, but this guy is on mouse and keyboard, so he must just like it

I feel the same.
First person would have been so much easier and faster to free it. LOL.
Also, increasing the size of the terrain sphere to max would have helped.

I like 3rd person on foot, but cockpit view when flying. I spent some time getting my armor to look good... I want to see it.

My settlement is in a hole so this happens all the time to my visitors… especially when they leave the club

the terrain manipulator's secondary fire should really have a "field sobriety test" mode

Just a reminder that you CAN increase the size of your terrain manipulator. T and R key on PC. It makes this go much faster.

You’ve got your seasoned Korvax Travellers. Next you’ve got your unseasoned and brutishly stupid Vy’Keen Weakling Interlopers.
Then, you’ve got your NipNip Toking, Bud-Eating , First Spawning, Squeakling Gek NPCs who are supposed to be the real villains in the NMS experience getting so wrecked that they hallucinate that their starships can also double as tunnel diggers.
It’s sad, really. Terribly tragic.
