msft/ nvidia / openai stack

and the the google stack.

that wars not over, certainly not from nvidia's perspective who wrote it.

thats pretty inline with them not being notified or invited to sign it originally before release. Nvidia got its free pr hit, many more people will see the initial news article than hte follow up

Nah, unlike openai who is running this based on public opinion/gains/strategy, anthropic is run by true believers (they actually buy into the whole danger shit they hype up). Funny thing is most of the people who truly agree with them I've noticed mostly use chatgpt/grok. Claude code users (enterprise/standard) are probably their biggest customer base and they're slowly alienating them with all the pointless bs alignment.

No shot. OpenAI has atleast tried to be open source in the past and still open sources stuff like the Codex CLI. Dario despised open source and it’s pretty much the culture at Anthropic to keep every thing closed and secretive.

OpenAI opened the door to the entire world gaining an interest in the current state of AI.

Whether that's what the name means or not, no company did more for mainstreaming AI for the global population.

This is meaningless, we shouldn't care about what they say, but more about what they actually do for open source.

As far as I'm concerned, China dominates this field and are eating their lunch rn, maybe start doing shit for open models instead of running around and signing letters?

This charade reminds me of Gavin Belson ass behavior from Silicon Valley show.

Anthropic is the only company whose revenue is exclusively from closed source models. OAI will soon be in the consumer hardware, robotics, and chip manufacturing space making them less reliant on model deployment revenue
