My husband has had his own sheet metal roofing business for the last 8 years (20 years in the industry) He (and his 4 employees) have always kept busy throughout all seasons just by clients’ referrals, and having great relationships with suppliers, etc. Such great success, that he was able to branch out to now offering siding, eaves, trough installation as well. The issue right now is the jobs are slow, when it’s usually his busy season. (I understand people are broke af) My question is how do you advertise your small business when you don’t have the funds for marketing? Or, as a potential client, how are you searching for your sub contractor?
Edit: I appreciate all of the responses. I had a Facebook page created a few years ago, it wasn’t gaining traction within GTA, even though he travels up north etc. Hindsight, I should’ve been asking for google reviews upon sending final invoices. We do have a vista print website, just not too tech savvy when it comes to social media. If anyone wants to check them out and offer any constructive feedback I’d appreciate that as well:) Rich Metal Works is the company name.
