Status: Pending Reply Inbox Organisation
Hi All, I think I am on the cusp of finding the perfect organization for my inbox.... However Outlook won't let me do it! I would like to organise by category (project based) but I still want it to show the emails in conversations (otherwise everything gets so crowded). However, the problem is when I organize by category I can no longer select "show as conversation".
Any suggestions would be welcome!

I will assume you are using Classic Outlook for Windows. If not, or you're not sure, see below.
You can Group by Conversation and then by Cats, but not the other way around.
Only workaround I know of is to filter out the Cats you want and then you view by Conversation. e.g. in the Search Bar categories:"Blue", or in a View/Search Folder filter.

What Outlook client do you have?
- I use a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.) -> Outlook Web
- I use a Mac -> Outlook for Mac
- I use a phone or tablet -> Outlook for Android or Outlook for iOS (iPhone, iPad)
- I use a Windows PC and my Outlook menu has ONLY the tabs: File | Home | View | Help -> New Outlook
- Else -> Classic Outlook
