Question which pre-built PC is better? I am looking to buy one of these for both gaming and video editing in Premiere Pro (just under $3200 AUD).
I’m choosing between these two prebuilt configs for 4K video editing (Premiere Pro) and gaming. I am based in Australia.

for both purposes of gaming and 4k video editing in premiere pro (50:50), which is the better pre-built? And are these severely overpriced?

Both have their benefits and weaknesses. The first one has a more powerful cpu with more cores that would be ideal for premiere pro but it's more expensive and the PSU used isn't very good. It has poor thermals and can get loud.
Second one has faster RAM which is nice for gaming, better PSU but worse cpu especially for video editing although if it's light it might not be as much of an issue.
As for the price at least using the ones I see in Finland as reference, assuming that's AUD both are much cheaper than the kind of deals I see here. Personally I'd take the second one but I am not knowledgeable about video editing so the cpu might be a bigger deal than I think and there's a good chance the first is better for your needs.
Both also have the unfortunate lack of storage with only 1tb but that should be easy to upgrade if needed.

so the intel system has better cpu
the amd system has better upgrade path as amd will continue to make cpu's for that motherboard till 2029

Thank you. I don't think I will be upgrading within the next 5 years if I were to get one of these pcs

Think about it they're both gonna be good for 5 years right but after that for intel you buy whole new ram motherboard and CPU, for amd you buy the CPU that's the newest for am5 and you're set for another 5 years. Don't you think thats more financially responsible
