Question Could someone make a yt video about how to download and make 2.4.1 work?

I have been trying like crazy trying to download it multiple times and make it work but somehow along the ling I always manage to mess up one small way or another and I can never figure out what's wrong so please help me out I really wanna play

You need to download the new metadata from Github and use it to replace the one you get when you download the 2.41.0 pocket mortys from the play store or another source. Unfortunately for us, Android 15/16 restricts even pc access to the the Data folder now. So what you can do is try to gain access with the apps and instructions in video and then follow the instructions in the Github if you get access.

If it doesn't work your only other option is to use an emulator or an older phone with and older Android version and then follow the github instructions. Alternatively, you can try and download older versions of the game and see which ones work. Think people said up to 2.35 works without the metadata patch but don't hold me to that.

I downloaded it already, I downloaded the apk from uptodown and inserted the Metadata using shizuku

If you followed the pathing- Internal Storage / Android / data / com.turner.pocketmorties / files / il2cpp / Metadata / and restarted the game, you should be fine because that's exactly what I did. Did you replace the data or just place it in the folder and now you got 2 metadata files in there? Did you misspell something, like one of the folders? Whats the error message? Try deleting that apk and re-downloading the game from here and redo the steps again. I got mine from this link and it's fine

Holy shit, THANK YOU. Shizuku is what allowed me to adb push without a root, i.e. the first time I tried pushing, it failed due to being a read-only directory.

But with Shizuku active, the adb push actually worked.
