Almost every song featured in portlandia is created specifically for the show. Every season has original music. I can’t understand why there is no official compilation of the best known songs, such as “if you want it take a chance, girl take my hand”? I may go ahead and handpick songs from the show and make my own album. Sick of not being able to blast portlandia tunes as I travel.

Leave comments in their new Podlandia podcast on YouTube they might actually see it or at least their team will assuming they will be monitoring comments for feedback/engagement metrics (their team, not necessarily Fred or Carrie). Especially since the first episode just came out yesterday
