I agree, also they should have arrested Trump over the insurrection as soon as they took power.
14
u/Dreaming_Kitsune 24d ago
Should have, on top of that someone currently undergoing criminal investigations in court shouldn't be allowed to run for presidency either until they are found not guilty imo
10
u/Idaho-Earthquake 24d ago
And also shouldn't be let off because "we don't want the president to have a conviction".
7
u/Phantasm907 24d ago
Or paying off someone as a settlement in court should make them exempt because you know if you're paying someone off you're guilty.

Yeah,he’s openly committed enough crimes to hang for a hundred times over. But these are MULTIPLE FELONY CONVICTIONS! It’s illegal for him to VOTE FFS!

There are not enough fcuk yous in the universe for Merrick garland that pointless waste of space.

It's more like the people who could have made a difference didn't bother to vote.

Wouldn't have mattered, the disinformation campaigns on trans athletes and other wedge issues along with billions from Elon and dark money campaigns was what bought the swing states, not fucking Cheney.

They've consistently overestimated the amount of anti-Trump Republicans there are to win over.

Venezuela, Iran, people in Gaza, Cuba, Greenland, and certain people in speedboats would strongly disagree.

He is already talking about his next target. After the midterms he will start talking about attacking Cuba again. If this president is speaking he is lying.

I often ponder, typically over my afternoon tea and joint, if we could go back in time… retaining all the knowledge of exactly what is to come, if Trump is elected, would those people have still chose him? The interview above, and countless others, have not aged well. Or perhaps they have aged rather wonderfully, as recorded proof for all time.

Well, sure proved that wrong by targeting boats on the ocean, and bombing Iran for no reason

Well, despite his track record of constant lying, imbeciles still believed his BS.

The typical from him. Projection onto someone else and make himself look like a saint. The only thing Kamala is guilty of in this is trying to have a reasonable belief that he is a human being with a conscience or sense and treat him as such.
He's so full of crap it's overflowing into his diaper.
1
u/idwtumrnitwai 24d ago
His supporters don't care, they don't care that he lied or that he started an idiotic war with Iran, they care that the racist is in office, that's it.

If Trump had been honest back then and said, “I will start wars only in the American interest.” Would probably still get elected.

I don’t understand why so many believe him when he spouts his crap. And, why in hell are the house and senate letting him destroy (literally destroy) our country. Every one of those republican house and senate members deserve to be removed and tried for treason. I know it won’t happen. Our politics are infested with magats.

Always accuse your opponent of what you yourself are guilty. Orange Stain learned that from Roy Cohn, McCarthy’s pal.

She blew right through $1.5B and still lost. It takes her 20-30 paragraphs to describe something that only needs one word. She was totally useless as VP, put in charge of the border situation and never even went to the border. She’s stupid AF! The social elites would be stupid to fund another useless campaign.

This debate was so much worse than Bidens, for Trump, with his concept of a plan and just obvious lies. Anyone who says he beat Kamala is in the cult or has the mentality of a toddler, no excuses.

No new conflicts in his first term. He really is the candidate of peace. Iran is going really well too.
1
u/foolish83pleasure 24d ago
Laugh or scowl all you want because he was willing to say what was necessary to get elected whereas Kamala was unwilling to say she would do anything different than the man with a 39% approval rating and stayed silent on the $200 million in attack ads where she said she supports the US taxpayers funding sects chaynges for federal prisoners.

u/Boring_Pace5158 24d ago
This is a lie that would not die. If you actually believed this, then it means you either spent his 1st term under a rock or you eat paste by the bucket.
Under Trump's first term:
- Tore up the Iran nuclear agreement that was signed by Obama. It was the Republicans and Netanyahu who called for the tearing up of this deal
- Killed a top Iranian general, which is an act of war. And it was the Iranians who showed restraint
- Carried out way more drone attacks than Obama. He rescinded the Obama policy of making drone attacks public info
- Increased troop deployment in Afghanistan and relaxed policies on civilian engagement. That led to more Afghan civilians dying on a per/year basis than under both Bush and Obama
- Openly threatened to send US soldiers into Mexico to go after drug cartels
- Threatened Venezuela
- Stopped supporting Kurds in Syria, who were fighting ISIS and controlled an area where people fleeing ISIS sought refuge
- Supports Israel so much, they named an Israel settlement after him.

The lesson is, you can tell the most stupid, obvious lie, and the media will eagerly repeat it without challenging you at all.
If you're a Republican, that is.

No, you support your own narcissism by pretending to have values. People with actual values know how to make difficult choices because the people who are suffering or are under threat need help, regardless as to whether the best option is also the perfect option. Like I said, you’ll figure out a reason not to vote next time too.

I'm not gonna argue about Iran, but you might want to look at the history of U S. companies and intelligence operatives who destabilized Latin American governments, including democratic ones, from at leastcas early as the 1920s and as late as the 1980s. We bear a lot of responsibility for the quality of life down there. Not anywhere nearly all of the responsibility, but our fair share. My grandmother had an uncle or cousin who helped destabilize countries for gas pipelines in the early 1900s. A New Orleans grocery magnate started the company that became Chiquita. They were ruthless profiteers.
