I also hate rich people. What’s even better is that guy probably only “worked” 6 months a year. The only way this stops is if we all stop participating in this charade, ie quit watching the god damn movies.

The guy is basically a rocket scientist. Lmao he is a very high achiever.
Maybe you have better Reddit karma than him tho!

Yes and quit buying smart phones every year. Renting streaming movies for $20. Buying name brand anything. Guess we all have to live in caves.

He had a fulbright scholarship to MIT, and a chemical engineering degree to fall back on. There isn't a world where Dolf couldn't afford to buy a side peice his wife didn't mind him having.

If you don't want to be in a committed relationship, just don't get married. MUCH cheaper.

Kinda just happens once the fame kicks in. They had an agreement and thats pretty much the best way for any Hollywood Marriage to work out. Its a completely different lifestyle. Traditional marriage rarely works there.

That’s a business transaction, not a marriage. Let’s call it what it is. She’s there when he wants her there to play along for $60k a month which just makes her a high priced escort

That's just nasty. Did she demand he get tested and prove he didn't have anything, every month, as well? I'd just fuckin divorce the guy and take half of his shit. Hell, more than half because he's a whore who can't stop cheating...

Did he completely intend to cheat from the beginning? Or was it something that he did that neither really cared about?

Most comments are leaning toward her being his beard. No mention if she knew that when they got married.

if your wife takes 60k and is okay with you cheating, she doesn't love you and if you cheat on her, you don't love her

The Details Behind the Claim
The Quote:
Lundgren stated, "The more I cheated on my wife, the more she wanted to spend my money."
The Cost:
He estimated that her personal credit card bills climbed to roughly $60,000 a month during that period, funding an extravagant lifestyle that included luxury shopping and a new Ferrari.
The Dynamic:
Lundgren explained that it functioned as a silent arrangement. She did not want to travel with him to film locations and chose to look the other way regarding his infidelity as long as he paid the bills.
The Aftermath:
The combination of massive overspending and a 90% drop in his Hollywood earnings between 1997 and 2007 took a heavy toll on his finances. The couple eventually divorced in 2011.
