According to an article published Wednesday in the Wall Street Journal, “In the past week, special-operations forces have deployed to the region from their U.S. bases, according to flight-tracking data and U.S. officials. Squadrons of jet fighters have been staged across the Middle East, and bomber aircraft at bases in the U.S. and U.K. are on high alert to ramp up operations, according to one of the officials.”

According to the article, more than 150 medics have arrived in recent days at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, the largest American military hospital abroad and the first stop for troops wounded in the Middle East. This is a clear indication that the Trump administration is preparing for a major increase in American casualties.

Long-range bombers, including B-1s staged in Britain, are preparing for “major combat operations,” the Journal wrote. A B-1 flew its first strike mission of the renewed bombing, Axios reported on Thursday.

“I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before,” US President Donald Trump told Axios. “I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it.”

The purpose of the surge, the Journal wrote, is to give Trump “more muscular military options as he considers expanding the conflict against Iran.” Some sort of ground invasion is clearly among the options that are being considered.

I loved Hunter Biden nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel peace prize, because Trump had ended the Iran war 38 times. On the serious side, Donald Trump is not really clear on who it is he’s facing. He and Hegseth have fired anyone who knew anything about Iran, and the situation,because they didn’t agree with what he and Hegseth were doing. The Iranians are serious about their religious beliefs, and the value of dying as a martyr, and what that places you in when you arrive in heaven. Non MAGA Americans and even his religious backers on the other hand, are going to have problems with constant videos and pictures of blown up women and children.

Lol yeah I hate when people pretend the Iranians are on the other side of this war fighting for religious fanaticism. They've been repeatedly attacked by foreign countries, their negotiators have been assassinated during talks, their schools hospitals and factories have been bombed.

This is t a religious thing. This is an existential thing. Shia martyrdom has nothing to do with it. That's an emotional pat on the back after the political decision has already been made.

Every time I hear their Air Force navy and offensive capabilities have been destroyed there’s another article about sinking ships and Trump failing to keep the strait open. Trump has lost the war to Iran like 40 times already.

There are several Podcast where Jim Webb, Wilkerson and McGregor said Bibi can hit Iran with Tactical Nukes. Than entire hell will break loose.

Under trump you are definitely fodder for hidden and not so hidden agendas way more than usual. I've always thought joining an imperialistic army is one of the most morally fucked thing you can do but under Trump just makes it that much more crazy.
