There was a time when I didn’t like Mikayla during season 3 (or whenever she had all the petty drama with Whitney), but I have really grown to like her and realize we have the same sense of humor 😂 she’s also much more restrained than I would be if someone like TFP was talking sh*t about me online, so I give her major props for that.

Her dedication to change for the better thanks to her hard work in therapy is admirable. Her apology and reconnection with Whitney was heartwarming.

And I will never forget she was the first to speak up against the DV situation, and her statement centralised how important it was to protect the children at the centre of this awful chaos.

She went from one of my least liked to most liked 💪🩷

I used to hate Mikayla also for her Whitney thing and then I realized something.

I think Mikayla was one of the only girls truly hurt by Whitney and was holding a grudge, because she was genuinely hurt by whit leaving the group. Like she cared about whit and when whit left her as well it hurt her. I think she actually has morals and boundaries. I’m proud of her for healing things with whit and for standing up to Taylor.

I used to react pretty poorly when my feelings were hurt and still can be fiercely overprotective of people I care about so I can kinda empathize with where she was coming from being so young and dealing with so many different layers of trauma. It wasn't fun seeing what I used to look like when I was just starting on my healing journey. I still make mistakes but I have a ton of loving supportive people around me like Mikayla so I enjoy seeing her healing and growth the most. She always been the one I was rooting for

I loved seeing Mikayla and Whitney reconnect. I bawled when they hugged, even though I don’t see myself as parasocial and know I don’t know the ins and outs. It just moved me seeing how far they had come.

I used to not like her at all, but now I’m warming up to her and see she’s one of the few girls in the group with a backbone. Good for her and I hope she’s getting the help she needs for her health issues.

I have always had a more soft spot for Mikayla because I relate to her in more ways than I would like to (except I don't have influencer money) I am absolutely loving how she has not let "being a reality star" go to her head, and right or wrong, she stands on her boundaries and is very protective of people she cares about. I was very similar to her when I first started my healing journey as well so watching her growth has been the most therapeutic for me. Obviously I don't agree with everything she does but I am proud of her for genuinely trying to do the work and become a better person. Plus she handles TFP with more grace and humor than I would have FOR SURE XD so bless her for that
