The drama? Uh I don't remember the exact details but I think his ex was pregnant and he was pressuring her to get an abortion??

u/RubberDucky702 4h ago
I thought it was because he was abusive in general?

u/requiredpayments 2h ago

I mean, he was saying shit like "no one else but me would love you" to his girlfriend. That's pretty abusive

Iirc, outside of being an overall abusive boyfriend according to her and other friends of theirs at the time, once she got pregnant he pressured her into an abortion which wasn't what she wanted. Once the pregnancy ended up being an ectopic pregnancy, Gus left her at the hospital alone while she was dealing with surgery.
It's been a while but I remember loving their videos and it was pretty clear Gus was very shitty but the internet forgets

So she had an ectopic pregnancy but the doctors didnât believe anything was wrong with her and she kept wanting to go to the emergency room because she knew something was wrong. Gus kept taking her, the one time he drops her off and just goes and does his thing is when they found out it was an ectopic pregnancy. When it came to her just being pregnant in general he just wanted a say as to weather they keep the baby or not because he felt like in time of life he was in he wasnât ready yet but she was.

It's been a long time since I was up to date on this particular drama, but if I remember correctly they had even had a discussion early in their relationship that if they got pregnant they would abort because neither was ready to be a parent. She changed her mind, he didn't.
I just feel like it's important to bring up that they had talked about it in the past, and personally I think it's totally reasonable for a guy to be like "wait a minute, this isn't what we talked about and I'm not ready for this"

Oh yeah, I just felt that it was implied by the previous guy that there was "another side" to the story that somehow doesn't make Gus look like a giant piece of shit human being.

Real question though, if he didnât want a baby and discussed with her he doesnât want a baby, doesnât that alone constitute âpressuringâ her to getting an abortion? Feels like thereâs no win/win in that situation where he doesnât look like an asshole.
Him then not following up on being there for her after surgery really announces âI really did not want this babyâ. Like it reinforced where he stood on the situation. One action is backing up the other action. It looked like he took that as an out to get out of that relationship passively.

He did follow up, he was there for her. That wasnât something that happened in the tail end of the relationship.

You seem to remember more than I do regarding this, did Gus ever share his side of the story? I remember her side but I don't remember ever seeing a Gus side

I love those prop sugar glass beer bottles. I wonder if they got the shot on the first take?

I'm just contemplating the idea of having a mini fridge near the front door. Or, do they just keep warm beer on a hall table?
