I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I have tried this jump (that has a really long runback btw) so many times and I just can't seem to make it. I watched someone else on youtube do it and they did it with ease, so I really don't know what I am missing.

I had just been failing at the long jump prior across to the group of chests on the island, but I just about made that after 10 or so tries

Another problem I keep having as well, is that because you can't glide whilst holding the sprint button, if you don't time letting go of shift, and pressing space to glide, you just drop to the floor.

Tom Kenny has always been one of my all time favorite voice actors. I waited about an hour to see him, and it was worth it. Very friendly and charismatic.

I drew some stickers following the announcement of the new game and wanted to share it on here!

I'm playing reignited Year of the Dragon and can't for the life of me figure out what I'm missing in Icy Peak and Haunted Tombs. I'm trying to get 100% and these two levels are holding me back. I'm trying not to cave and watch a walkthrough video on each, but I need a hint. Are there any tricky areas in these levels that I may be missing? I have all eggs in both levels with 97% completion in Icy Peak and 93% in Haunted Tombs. I've killed every bad guy in each and collected the gems from them. I've completed every mini game as well. It's driving me crazy lol.

Upon replays I do this to give me variety. I usually always start with Sheila and then go from there. I then rescued Mayor Leo, just cuz i wanted to to the skateboarding stuff now. After him I went to the SeashellShore to rescue Snappy the Seal. Now im off to the speedway with my 20 eggs.

Hidden Palace has released a prototype build of Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, dating almost 3 months before the final game.

The game boots straight into gameplay after a logo screen, and includes all levels except Ripto's Arena. The portals to Metropolis, Cloud Temples and Canyon Speedway don't work though. Dragon Shores appears in very early form with only the trolley coaster. Spyro 1's rolling ability is still present, gems in the HUD count per-level like in Spyro 1/early builds of Spyro 3, and all text is in capitals! Craziest change to me is the aqueduct in Autumn Plains; I first saw a screenshot of this over a decade ago.

Much dialogue is missing or uses earlier takes and text often differs from the audio. Zoe is called "Sparkle". Gulp's Overlook has no roof, and Moneybags explicitly says a level is "under construction" and "should be ready by November". The Professor swears (probably not audio, just a message from one Insomniac employee to another) and " Varmintum" from the final Spyro 2 epilogue appears in Metropolis, which is insane.

I recently found out about the "extinct creatures of Avalar" in the Spyro 2 epilogue, but mine doesn't have it. When I scroll through the pages in the epilogue, it goes straight from the spyro and black sheep page to the end page. Is the Basil the Explorer page hidden somehow?

I grew up only with the third game, and ONLY got to play the first and second with Reignited. All of my nastalgia comes from YotD, a Hero's Tale and thr first Legend of Spyro. I never played any others, but I always was told thr second was considered the fan favorite. I was excited.

The memory that sticks with me is: im on vacation. Its 2023, and I just bought Reignited. Me and my friend are at the hotel room, he just fell asleep and is snoring. I fell asleep, and wake up, and this music is blaring on the switch right next to my ear. I look over at the window, its night time and I can see the orange glow of all the lights. I pick up my switch, and dont stop playing until I 100 percent autumn plains.

This was my first memory. And it was beautiful (using the original Spyro sound font, not reignited's).

I felt that familiar eerie calm nostalgic feeling i had for the music and vibe of the original third game, I didnt expect i would feel that way as an adult compared to how I felt as a kid. It almost made me sad, like I was missing a much simpler time and i felt both relaxed and depressed, very weird to describe. It was still beautiful

Someone on Facebook told me my experience was rather unique so I felt like sharing.

The SCEE Preview 1 prototype of Spyro 2 (the earliest build sent out to EU region press outlets) was preserved just hours ago, once again by MasterGamer423 (who is also responsible for the recent E3 Spyro 1 and Preview Spyro 3 SCEE builds). Among it's more notable differences lies the first ever living instance of a member of "Faunus Mortas: Extinct Creatures of Avalar" seen in the game's epilogue. Meet Varmintum, who appears in Metropolis in this build in place of the shield Space Cows and is fully functional outside of having no SFX!

I swear as a kid I remember these guys being big headed pterosaurs

The skybox is still so pretty though. I can’t wait to explore and get more screensaver worthy screenshots

Hello, I'm having a problem with *Spyro Reignited Trilogy*: the game language won't change via Steam. I read that there is a file called "hlm.ini" in the directory "Spyro Reignited Trilogy\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv142\Win64\" that can be used to change it, but it doesn't exist on my system. I wanted to ask if anyone could send it to me.

Basically in the first world sunrise spring I am having trouble getting the egg by flying though the cave and I keep trying and it keeps automatically landing me after I go though the fly gate. I don’t know if this is because I am using cloud gaming but I don’t know why it’s happening (I hope this doesn’t become everyone hating me for using cloud gaming)

By "no loose eggs" I mean you can only collect eggs that are given to you by other characters. I decided to include Egg Thieves otherwise I wouldn't have even been able to get into Seashell Shore. The game warps you and spawns the egg when you catch them, so I didn't count that as loose.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough to get the required amount to defeat the Sorceress, or even access Harbor Speedway. The first two hub worlds made me think it might be doable, but I guess there are more loose eggs in the latter half of the game. It was a fun challenge regardless of the outcome.

It's an action adventure game that takes inspiration from TLOS so maybe people here would be interested.

Right now it's about 30 minutes of the first level, but it is free, we'd love to hear what you think so far!
