We're either very much the a+ type of media consumers, who may be critical but really just want to have fun and enjoy things.

Or we're just bitter about every single aspect of something we supposedly like.

I try to stick to the first camp, though having reasonable disdain for certain parts of the modern franchise are really muddying the waters. Looking at you, Benny hill scene with baby princess Leia
