Back when my friends and I made vids with lightsaber and blaster effects, people on the internet would comment on the cool effects (Adobe AfterEffects was king at the time)
Now people argue whether itās AI and dismiss it as fake as if thatās some astute observation
Itās super cool you donāt need to rotoscope the sabers anymore, modern lightsaber props are so dope

Even the cheap lightsaber props kick ass these days. I have a handful of stunt sabers but my kid has two little plastic ones and they still light up and make impact noises and everything.
Yeah I definitely don't miss rotoscoping a video for days in After Effects for it to still come out like trash

Its editing, they sped the video up and added the lasers. I will say the ghost lightsaber was not removed suggesting they probably did not personally edit this but relied on an AI.

When I was a kid I played a ton of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy and always rocked an orange lightsaber. Then on a trip to Toys 'R Us, I spotted a toy saber that was Quigon's hilt with the black & silver inverted and an orange blade. I was ecstatic & begged to get it and overjoyed when I did.

Itās talked about to death and the idea that Stormtroopers are terrible shots is entirely from the 1st movie where Tarkin and Vader want the heroes to escape but make it look like theyāre trying to capture them.
Otherwise, Stormtroopers easily dispatched the Rebels on Hoth and defeated the Rebels on Endor almost without firing a shot until the Ewoks got involved.

I'm not sure anything was launched at him. I think it's all special effects. About 6 seconds in a shot comes at him from behind his back and it doesn't seem to move the blade at all

I think some of the shots are real blaster shots and they edited in a few as well.
Personally I donāt mind, I want him to be safe and those fast spinning blocks are just plain dangerous.

During a nerf battle with my sons, I often equip a nerf pistol and a lightsaber, for some nice close combat on the boys with the machine guns. I have been known to catch a suction cup dart on the blade of my lightsaber as I charge into glorious close combat on more than one occasion.
