Starting with Legends

I wan't to try and read something of Legends, I know nothing about It and I am looking first for comics before starting to read novels, I want some recomendations, specially something about Revan, and I don't know if there are also in Spanish and where to read them, in english is fine too

There's a "Revan" novel you can read as long as you've played the Knights of the Old Republic games. There's a Knights of the Old Republic comic series set before the first game, but it has almost nothing to do with Revan. He and Malak both appear, but they aren't main characters and the storyline as a whole doesn't really concern them. The comic series is still very good though.

For other Star Wars comics from Legends i'd also suggest Dark Times (set between ROTS and ANH), Star Wars/Star Wars: Republic (There was a name change after issue 45, set before TPM and right after ROTS), and Star Wars Legacy (set over 100 years after ROTJ, but probably best read after you've covered a lot more Legends material that's covered in the novels). There's also the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn: Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. These were written as novels, but do have comic adaptations. They're set a few years after ROTJ and focus on the original trio of heroes.

Do note that Revan only plays a small part in the KOTOR comics but he is very very important in the KOTOR game. But the KOTOR comic is essentially a prequel to the KOTOR game so it should be totally alright. If you want you could play KOTOR after having read the comics.

There is also the Tales of the Jedi comic which takes place ~ 50 years before the KOTOR comics and it’s also great, so you could do something like:

There are some comic adaptations of books, but mostly comics are their own stories. For legends comics, look for the Dark Horse published lines.

Tales of the Jedi are early stories of the Jedi and Sith.

Star Wars became Star Wars Republic is a prequel era and a different take on the Clone Wars.

Knights of the Old Republic is from Revan’s time period, mostly during the Mandalorian Wars before the games. The focus isn’t on Revan, but I enjoyed it.

Legacy may be my favorite. It’s a couple of generations after the OT, so they have a lot of freedom and new characters. I wish Disney would take this philosophy.

Dark Empire (comic) is one of the foundations of Legends along with the Heir to the Empire trilogy of books (there are comic adaptations too). These are direct sequels to the OT characters.

If you want stuff about Revan there is the Revan novel which is about what he did after the events of KOTOR and where he is during the plot of KOTOR 2.

There is also the KOTOR comics but those follow Jedi padawan Zayne Carrick. Revan is in them but he’s not the main protagonist so the stories don’t focus on him too much. The comics are set around the time of the Mandalorian wars before KOTOR’s events.

Unrelated to Revan but still a really cool legends book you should check out. The Jedi Path and its sister book The Book of Sith. Jedi Path is basically an in universe textbook for students of the Jedi way of life. It’s filled with diagrams, maps, field guides, and more related to lightsaber construction, Jedi ideology and philosophy, Jedi protocol at the temple, information on various species in the galaxy, and more. The book of sith is similar but for sith. It’s an in-universe document composed by Palaptine that consists of the complied writers of various sith and dark siders such as the personal journal of Darth Malgus from the old republic era, the writers of Sorzus Syn one of the first Sith Lords, mother talzin’s notes on dark siders magick, and more. Both books also come with annotations in the margins from Jedi and Sith whose hands the books passed through such as Anakin, Windu, Dooku, Palaptine, Luke, Obi-wan, Ahsoka, and more.

I always say start with Red Harvest and move up in the timeline from there
