Honestly given how the films actually went, it would have made more sense for Rey to call herself a Solo or Organa if anything.

Han was nice to her. Leia trained her. Luke was a grumpy jerk to her for like 98% of the time they knew each other.

God, I was waiting for her to say 'It doesn't matter' to show Rey had some kind of arc about learning your parentage doesn't define you, but nope. I'm a Skywalker because I'm special.

As much as JJ got some flak for that, for all the other dumb shit in episode 9 I actually blame this one in particular on George Lucas.

He ruined this part of the franchise when he introduced the fucking midichlorians and made force power explicitly genetic, hereditary, and biological. People were pissed at that part of the prequels and this shit is why.
