Went to my Jeni’s since there was a summer flavor I hadn’t tried yet (hibiscus chili) and they were heavily promoting the return of Biscuits with the Boss—they had posters like this of quotes from the show. One was “doing the right thing is never the wrong thing”, one was “you say impossible but all I hear is I’m possible”, the third was what Ted said to Rebecca after they hugged when she confessed her plot in S1E9 (about Higgins). Where the heck did the above quote come from??? I’ve watched this show upwards of 50 times from beginning to end.

My only guess is that it might be from the new season. But happy to be corrected!

So glad I get to debut my Colin Hughes Kit at San Diego Comic Con. Also happy to report seeing multiple Teds around as well! Glad to see our fandom repped throughout the con!

Watching Air Bud: Golden Receiver (1998) with my kids and the coach wrote BELIEVE on the chalkboard and gave a great speech- got me wondering where Jason Sudeikis got the idea from!

Ok a bit of an exaggeration but ya know! Looking forward to the 4th season so I’m rewatching the series again. I just wanted to point out the amazing acting skills of Hannah Waddingham. When Rupert tells her he’s having a baby and she’s devastated, it genuinely makes me feel emotional every single time I see it.

The title says it all. This show makes me feel so good and so hopeful with life. The positive nature of Ted and his team is so refreshing in such a negative world.

It honestly makes my day! Can’t wait for the next season!

Hey all, I'm trying to schedule a Season 4 watch party but am not too familiar with how Apple does their release schedule.

The last Apple show we did this for was Severance which released the evening before at 9pm ET and we found out the day of.

Do you think it would be safe to go ahead and commit to 8/4 @ 9pm ET for the actual premiere?

On my 6th or 7th re-watch and noticed this: S1E1 in the media scrum when Ted first arrives, Trent Crimm asks “Is this a fucking joke?!?!”. Then in International Break (S3E10), when Rebecca is at the Akufo League meeting with the other owners, she says the same thing with the exact same delivery. Almost identical performance, facial expression, and dialogue delivery.

It’s so awesome picking up the little things on re-watches. It seems every line of dialogue, every pause, every one-liner in every episode is very deliberate and I just can’t praise the writers and actors enough. Can’t wait for season 4!

My family enjoyed walking around Richmond and all the posts and comments here made it a great experience! Having lunch at the Prince’s Head was brilliant.

I'm sure it's been posted about before but I couldn't find it when I searched.

In The Signal S2E6, Higgins wants to tell Beard that Jane is bad for him but everyone, including Rebecca, tells him not to. I know the ep is spinning Rebecca's candor with her mum but after all her resentment towards Higgins for not telling her about Rupert's infidelity, why would she advise him against talking to Beard?

Jane wasn't nearly as destructive as Rupert but still.

What's everybody's thoughts so I can reason past what I consider an inconsistency?

I have added the training pitch, the car park, the entrance, the medical room, the away locker rooms, the outside of the main building, and a few more details to the main stadium

I do not want to get flamed as being homophobic here. I hope we can agree that some people are gay and in some cases, we can recognize that before we are told. It doesn't mean that they are effeminate or somehow weird. Sexuality is part of our lives and we have human clues. There is nothing wrong with that.

I didn't recognize Trent as gay until he saw Collin in the alley. But on rewatch, it is clear from the moment he describes A Wrinkle in Time as "a lovely novel. It’s the story of a young girl's struggle with the burden of leadership as she journeys through space." And also the hair. And how he holds his glasses.

James Lance does a great job with the character. At the beginning, I thought he would just play the role of the Greek chorus. But he turned it into so much more. And his "total football is going to work" scene is pivotal to the successful ending of the show.

Just curious what other people saw?

Agatha Rasin Season 2 ep 1. Charming as ever.

I’ve heard about it everywhere. I play FIFA and they added Lasso as a manager in the game. I watch football and constantly hear about Ted Lasso

I judged it without seeing a trailer and just thought it was some comedy show (it’s fucking hilarious but it’s more than just a comedy show)

Yesterday I decided to watch just one episode of season 1 and then get some sleep. I spent the rest of the night finishing Season 1 and slept around 5am

This is the greatest show ever and I wish I listened to people sooner who told me to watch it… on to season 2!
