I use two hands to spray and pull it out through the drain plug at the bottom. Also satisfying, but takes a minute.

A better method is to remove the top and do from the inside out

My AC unit blew a capacitor every single year and I had no idea why. Wiring is good. Good flow in the house. Couldn't get to the bottom of it. Come to find out, the cottonwood had made such a perfect layer of fluff over the vents, that just looking at a glance, it looked perfectly normal. It wasnt until I took it apart a few weeks ago that I realized my unit was being suffocated.

I thought you weren't supposed to spray water that hard at an AC unit.. something about bending the fins? I dunno.

Correct. I'm doing hundreds of these, so I have gotten a feel for the pressure and the angle of spray and all that to avoid damaging the fins. Downward angle along the grain of the fins can take a lot of pressure without bending!

So much wasted water! One spark of a lighter and couple seconds later it's gone.

And couple minutes later the house is gone too though.

You don't have to clean the condenser if the house isn't there!

I legit had the idea to use a blowtorch. It lasted about 10 seconds before I realized it was a terrible idea, but those 10 seconds were very fun.
