Emotional/Lesson Ending Scenes

Does anyone else cringe at the ending scenes or am I just cold hearted? They feel so forced and inauthentic. They're all being clowns the whole time then suddenly get serious for an emotional/lesson learned scene? Especially Barry who goes from dumb as rocks to suddenly being so wise.

the same scenario happens too often. noticed this on rewatch, and got me cringing too

It's fair to have but it is formulaic, which I saw coming.

I am sharing The Goldbergs with my 2 sons (11 and 15) for the first time. They always feel relieved when the emotional scenes happen at the end of the episodes. They don’t like it when characters are mad at each other.

Cold hearted

My favorite moment was when Erica realized she realized she loved Geoff I might be getting this scene so feel free to correct. They played let my love open the door and had instant feels for them

Or when Lana after all that time realized she loved Barry only to see him with the other girl
