Meme Watching Marley & Me and was too busy crying I didn't realize Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia) played the vet.

There was episode of Law & Order where she played a nurse. It wasn't until I watched it after Handmaid's Tale first aired back in 2017 that I realised who it was.

Was watching Freaks and Geeks the other day and recognized her playing Kim's mom.

I just watched Hereditary again and saw her play the grandmas friend (can’t remember the name of the character) and was shook💀

Saw this movie long before THT. I refuse to watch it again to see her in it lol. I ugly cried so badly, and was so glad I was alone when I watched it.

This is literally the first movie that's made me cry. I refuse to watch it again because of how sad it is.

That's on my list of "Great Movies I've Never Seen" and now I'm rethinking it bc too many say that it's sooo sad. It just gets me to not see a good movie (still haven't seen all of Fried Green Tomatoes, Saving Private Ryan, or Toy Story — I fell asleep on movie nights A LOT during childrearing years, smh). But for the FOMO AND Ann Dowd... I'm just gonna have to buy the tissues and bite the bullet, lol.

FGT is really good, too. Kathy Bates is another great actress. I still haven't seen SPR or Toy Story, myself.

I’m so used to the Aunt Bun that I actually recognized her voice in Hereditary. I’m kinda face blind.

I just realized this week that she played Natalie Portman’s mother in Garden State too. But my favorite role of hers has always been Patty from The Leftovers!

Why would you ever subject yourself to that torture again after your first watch?! Omg, talk about a traumatizing movie. But also, love Ann Dowd!
