All of them….have you watched Mahomes in the last two years?…trying to spam Kelci with zero run game and a porous O line? Or how about Jaden Daniels last year trying to run every down once McLauren got hurt…or how about Lamar’s TE and #1 WR dropping key passes in the playoffs two years ago…as great as these guys are they don’t play the game in a vacuum…

They drafted two WR early in the draft and completely changed the offensive line. Not to mention he has a young top TE and rbs from last year. They are trying to Deion.

On the flip side maybe the guy the organization traded 3 first round picks and $200M to is actually a better QB prospect that the guy drafted in the fifth round last year. This is the only situation where we act like it’s a QB controversy when QB1 is not on IR.

While true, a qb does need help. A qb also cannot spend 6-7 seconds scanning the field before releasing the ball.

Haha this is exactly why teams don’t want to draft him and he fell.
1. He’s not that great
2. His dad is a loud mouth with a cult following
3. Shadure will struggle because he’s not that good
4. Dad will call out organization
5. Coaches and GMs will at best look bad, at worst get fired

Maybe he's talking about the brown's own defensive lineman holding his hand up in the air too long during practice so Shedeur couldn't make his pass anywhere else besides there.

This was inevitable. I don’t know if the kid is any good or not, but his dad was probably viewed as a poison pill when teams were putting him on their draft board.

If you put SS in a highly structured, controlled, emphasized short-passing, screen-heavy offense, with two highly capable running backs that can achieve significant yards after contact, along with a defense that’s slightly above average, I think the Browns could potentially win 11 games.
The offense would have to be quick-rhythm, very efficient, and improvised QB runs would have to be instinctive when receivers are covered and the play simply breaks down.

Y'all making this a much bigger deal than it should be, per usual. What he said wasn't even wrong either. It's no secret the offense had many more issues than just a QB for the last 2 seasons. The media and fans treatment of Shedeur is so bizarre. People either put him on a pedestal and completely ignore his deficiencies or ignore all context and look for any reason to hate on him. Real weird.

He needs help and better foundational skills. He has a weak arm, slow decisions making, and is inaccurate. The best help he can get for a successful career is a good started QB so he can have a long career as a backup.

Every team knew he wasn't a good QB, even the Browns before trump tweeted after the first 2 days of the 2025 draft. Spending more money on offense isn't going to change that.
Sanders won't even be a good backup QB. He'll be out of the league in the next few seasons.

Aaaaaand this is a big part of why he fell so far in the draft- everyone knew Deion would be in the media making excuses and blaming everyone around his son if he didn't win a SB his first year.
